  1. I would totally agree with this, however I have to say that today was by far Gillett's best performance for the club IMO.
  2. To be fair Southampton is an absolute sh!t hole at the best of times, and thats not as a result of student behavior. It's as a result of most of the c*nts who inhabit the place from birth.
  3. Have you ever posted a comment that doesn't contain the words 'I' and/or 'Me'?
  4. I remember this fixture last year when the pressure was on us to beat Cardiff at home. We were dreading the likes of Hasselbaink and Fowler tearing us apart, but we ran out eventual winners. I predict the same this weekend. COYR.
  5. No I will not be renewing my two ST's.
  6. As said on all the other threads, this is the best and most effective protest we can do IMO. I'm all for it....in fact I'm doing it regardless of whether there is any organised petition or "movement". I'm sure a lot of people feel the same.
  7. We've decided we want to win the reserve league instead of competing in a proper League. Rupert believes it would do the club good to boost the trophy cabinate. We are also entering the McDonalds Happy Meal cup. Its a revolutionary plan to develop the youngsters to play in more cup competitions.
  8. I bet it doesn't get anywhere near TV. Nobody outside of our fan base gives a sh!t about our current predicament. The ONLY protest that will work is if the majority of ST holders don't renew, but unfortunately there will be plenty who will still renew at early bird for the sake of saving £50 or so.
  9. While I agree with the idea, there are plenty of threads already discussing it.
  10. The time to say enough is enough is when we are mathematically relegated. By far the most effective way for us to protest is to not renew season tickets on mass. You also get to do that before the season is over.
  11. I think its down to the simple fact that our squad is not good enough. You look at the squad of senior pro's we had last season and we still only just avoided relegation. The likes of James, Gillet, McGoldrick, Molyneux and any fringe players/youngsters are not good enough for the Championship.
  12. I'm happy to do this. I believe it is a far more effective way of getting changes in the board room but not to the detriment of any support for the remaining games this season.
  13. Ronayne Marsh-Brown
  14. I wouldn't read too much into it to be honest. He was making suggestive comments like that a few weeks ago regarding us hearing news the following week and nothing happened.
  15. I'd go with that except I would have different subs.
  16. I doubt it.
  17. I would think he has to try and retain as much impartiality as he can due to his position on the panel on Soccer Saturday, this applies to any interaction he has with the media, not just on match days in the studio. I'm sure he would have been more vocal had he not been in this position. My ideal scenario would be similar to the Sunderland/Quinn one. Le Tissier is the figure head of a consortium to take us over. That would instantly unite all fans in one fell swoop IMO.
  18. The club should wait for the absolute deadline before making any decision. But the way it is looking, I would rather take the points deduction this season. As Leicester have proved, you can bounce back at the first time of asking with a good manager. (FAO Rupert Lowe)
  19. Admirable, but that will never happen before the season is over....or are you talking about uniting together in a relegation battle to League 2 next season?
  20. I would be against it for the following reasons: - Views on football are too old school - Would not have the business knowledge to run a football club (please no comments about her Dad because she wasn't his PA or anything) - I don't believe she could attract any big investors We need someone who holds significant influence in the city. Also somebody with EXPERIENCE!! For far too long this club has taken gambles on people with no relevant experience and the simple fact is....that is the reason we are staring relegation to League 1 and administration in the face.
  21. Some of you people who have made suggestions of players seem to still be mistaking us for a club who could attract top players and have the money to do so. Forget anyone like Harewood and Bendtner because its laughable to even suggest it. Start looking in clubs' under 18s then you will be nearer to the truth.
  22. Chaos and a fight to determine who is the bestest protesters and who came up with the bestest idea.
  23. Yes...I know, hence why we can't afford any more.
  24. Wasn't the idea that with all these protests, we would fully back the players during the games. You can guarantee that it will be another home loss. I intend to go to the game. I am happy to do the march in the same way as Swansea, and I believe it would attract more people this time having seen the successful turn out at the last one. However, I just feel that everyone walking out of the ground will surely condemn us to a defeat that we can ill afford....just my feelings on the idea.
  25. Sorry, but what on earth has that got to do with what I posted?
