  1. There is nothing sound in his reasoning at all, he should apply the rules correctly whatever game it is. That Chelsea game was very close and he could easily have cost Leicester the title. No wonder smaller clubs always get the rough end of the stick with referees, if they are thinking about what the press is going to say the next day.
  2. It will have to be either a Brexit Lite - UK staying in the customs union, or no deal Brexit - WTO rules with hard border in Ireland. The simple fact is if we leave the customs union there has to be a border - that’s always been the case.
  3. Oh dear, that’s bad.
  4. Not the easiest of ties considering we’re bound to play the reserves. Could be a good day out tho.
  5. This, no way in a million years will there be a deal.
  6. Agree. Most of his mistakes are just poor decision making. He’s improving with every game and when he learns when to do his tricks and when to keep it simple he will be a hell of a player.
  7. IMO the leave campaign made a big mistake in making such a big deal about the bus - it just gave massive publicity to a bus hardly anyone would have taken much notice of. Wether it was the net or gross figure would have made very little difference - the message they helped get across was that we pay a very large amount every day into the EU. £350mill, £300mill, £250mill - it’s all figures the average person cannot really comprehend - that’s why for all their moaning about being misleading I never once remember seeing the leave campaign give an accurate figure on the amount we pay in - they preferred it if the public didn’t know which is just as misleading.
  8. He still played in League 1, and wasn’t outstanding.
  9. ...who can't grasp the simple concept of abstaining.
  10. LOL you nob
  11. Bottled it LOL, bottled walking down to the village hall and putting a cross on a piece of paper. Ooooo how scary! I’ve always seen both sides, I’ve tended to lean towards the leave side because of the effects of immigration on public services and downward pressure on wages but as I am doing quite well financially and don’t use many services probably don’t have much to gain personally through Brexit - which I why I’ve generally been on the fence.
  12. It’s not a grand act you plumb, it’s a choice just as valid as anyone who chose to vote. By not voting you are saying you are either undecided or don’t care either way.
  13. Obviously. But choosing not to vote is also making a point.
  14. We as in the British people.
  15. Cheating ****s
  16. ****ing yes!!!
  17. Our three top scorers are all on the bench.
  18. Glad we are finally trying out three at the back, not sure tonight is the best game to try new things but hey, we’re gonna lose anyway.
  19. The logical thing to do would be to have a second refurendum once th3 details have become clear, except every party that had that in their manefesto at the last election got a thorough kicking so it’s fair to say we are getting what we voted for. NI is a bit of a worry, I can’t see how there can be anything other than a hard border with Ireland if the Tories are getting their way with a hard Brexit.
  20. He was nowhere near good enough for Utd, good player for us but when you go up a level you have to be able to do a bit more than sit in front of the back four and pass it sideways.
  21. I was thinking more of the Country’s spiralling debts, the state of the NHS, elderly care, the housing crisis, the pension time-bomb, potentially catastrophic climate change, terrorism and energy security issues. I’m sure pirates and smugglers are a problem but I’m not sure they are too high up the list - anyway, with the 5th/6th most powerful navy in the world we should be able to cope better than most.
  22. I’d rather take a practical look at the potential problems we are likely to face today.
  23. Flog him to anyone and invest the cash in areas where it is needed. The clubs stance in the summer was admirable, and maybe necessary but I wouldn’t be surprised if the situation has effected morale in the squad.
  24. I’m trying to think of something I give less of a **** about.
  25. Hojbjerg was excellent but Austin’s goals were so vital he has to get Man of the match IMO. Everton were awful but we still had to do the business and we did it in style, could easily have been 6 or 7 - cant ask for more than that.
