It would obviously depend on the deal, I would make my own mind up not follow what other people say like a brainless sheep.

True, but there was such a myriad of bull****e from both sides it's impossible to know what sort of Brexit people actually want and what they are willing to sacrifice to get control of our borders and laws. Over a year on and we still don't have a clue what it looks like and what the consequences will be. A vote on the final deal makes perfect sens to me. If May comes back with a great deal then it should all get voted through no problem. If she comes back with a pile of ****e why not give us a chance to say no thanks?
-
When May started making a complete mess of everything?
-
I'm not outraged at anything, just highlighting the idiocy of the situation. Or do you think it's clever to just blindly follow the referendum result to any sort of hard Brexit, regardless of consequences?
-
I didn't even vote, dickhead. Your inability to grasp the most simple of concepts never ceases to amaze.
-
To be honest, I don't really value the opinion of a grown man who pretends to be Batman on a football forum.

Regardless of which side you are on (I was mainly favouring leave), the situation is completely bonkers. Exactly how dogmatically do we pursue the result of the refurendum? It like we're in charge of a ship, the captain didn't know which way to go so everyone on board had a vote. The waters looked a bit choppy West so a narrow vote to East won despite no one really knowing the best direction. Now we are sailing towards what looks like some rocks and are powerless to change course because the captain blindly insists on carrying out the "will of the people". Instead of simply just asking again (wow, that would be common sense) we are sailing to what appears to be certain death.

What are you on about? Weirdo.

Other Premier League Transfers - Deadline Day
aintforever replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
To be fair, not signing a striker last summer did mean we fell behind. -
Yeah but it's becoming increasingly obvious we won't have either.

The Tories are making a complete mess of it. It's like it's been hijacked by the hard Brexiteers and it's just going to be forced through. Boris has said all along that we will still be in the single market: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-eu-referendum-single-market-brexit-a7104846.html

Other Premier League Transfers - Deadline Day

Ibe is only 21, not sure you can call him a failure just because he didn't set the Prem alight in his first season. Ake looks like he's going to be an awesome player. If Defoe's goals give them another Prem season then it will be a good investment IMO, plus his experience will be a value to their squad. When Wilson is fit he probably won't start anyway. -
Can we finish higher than eighth in the 2017-18 season?

With a bit of investment we should be able to challenge Everton. -

Good business by Bournemouth, when are we going to actually invest rather than just replace players we've sold? -
Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
aintforever replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
The human rights issue with football fans is fair cause for gripe if the people marching are football fans - not football hooligans who enjoy kicking the **** out of each other as you seem to think they were. These sort of scum can't have any moral high ground to criticise how the police handle football as they are the cause. Of course murdering kids is not on a par with football violence, that's a ridiculous thing to suggest. -

I'm struggling to see the point of this to be honest. Surely if the people marching are football hooligans then by definition they are extremists so are effectively marching against themselves. Or is beating the **** out of someone because of their football club more acceptable than because of their race/religion? -
They will. why do you think so many youngsters were prepared to vote for an IRA sympathiser loon like Corbyn?
-
Exactly, the people that caused the debt should take more responsibility, instead of sitting in their million pound houses they 'paid for' telling kids they have to get 40k in debt to do a degree.
-
Or the idea that people who voted Labour didn't actually want them to win just exists in your head? A few more years of Tory austerity, and hard working youngsters not having a chance of owning their own home. Plus May making a complete mess of Brexit will probably make Corbyn much more electable.

Agree, don't see the point in all this waiting around.

Flammable Cladding and Exploding Fridges

There are still almost 40,000 dwelling fires a year in the UK. -
Flammable Cladding and Exploding Fridges

The cause of the fire is almost irrelevant, fires will always occur in high-rises just like any property. The issue is how it spread, and the speed at which it did. I am amazed that they are allowed to clad these buildings in flammable material, especially given that the advice is to stay put if there is a fire. I read somewhere online that in Germany buildings over a certain height are not allowed to use this sort of cladding, who is supposed to be making these sort of descisions over here? I just hope that people responsible are held to account.
