  1. I don't expect visitors of my country to dress how I want, I expect them to wear whatever they choose.
  2. It's about tolerance. The way muslim's dress makes no difference to me whatsoever. If they want to dress like a Jehdi ninja that is up to them. Just like if a Western woman wants to wear a mini skirt on holiday it doesn't effect anyone else. I find the way people make an issue of it quite bizarre.
  3. Don't be a ***t, I'm talking about certain countries laws. troll
  4. Absolutely, our values of tolerance, respect and human rights are way ahead of some of these muslim sh!t holes IMO.
  5. No, they should be more tolerant to other people's cultures, just like we are. The fact that your choice of religion could mean a death penalty is just medieval.
  6. Hopefully the scots will just f*ck off and do their own thing.
  7. No. Our country shows more tolerance and respect for other religions and in that respect we are far superior. I Saudi Arabia it is illegal to spread Christianity, choosing to convert to another religion means you face the death penalty. could you imagine trying to pass similar laws to that over here? Forcing Muslims to conform to our way of dressing is no different to Saudis forcing Westerners to dress how they want us to when over there. It would be a step backwards.
  8. Absolutely, in terms of tolerance and respect for other religions and cultures we are way better than certain muslim countries.
  9. No different to a muslim country saying women can't wear certain clothes. IMO we are better than that.
  10. Maybe she is offended by dirty old men staring at her, either way it is her choice, her beliefs and as long as there is no security risks involved she is not harming anyone. If we start telling muslim women what to wear we are no better than some muslim countries who tell women what they can and cannot wear.
  11. I agree that it would be difficult to change their gun culture but that's no reason not to try. Any move to make machine guns less accessible to nut jobs would save some lives.
  12. I hate the whole PC thing but I still think we could show a bit of understanding and respect for other people's religious beliefs. I just hate the way the government raises issues like this to pander to the right wing racist vote that they are terrified of losing to UKIP at the next election. Most people don't like veils because they look weird and different, it's just ignorance. Obviously certain security situations require people to show their face but in most public situations they are harmless.
  13. Using the term Yid as an insult is obviously wrong but I don't see anything wrong with the Spurs fans adopting the word. The fact that they are proud of and want to sing about their jewish traditions should be applauded and is the opposite to anti-semitism IMO.
  14. That's a retarded view, you can buy guns on the black market in the UK but people are not dying in mass shootings all over the place. It will take time but they have to start phasing out this bizarre gun culture they have in the US. The harder it is for criminals to get guns, the less people will die. It's just common sense.
  15. Obviously if there is security issues and a face needs to be seen it is different but i don't see a problem with veils in public places. i agree they look a bit spooky but comparing it to motorbike helmets shows how intolerant you are of other peoples religious beliefs. It's not hard to show a bit of understanding of other peoples cultures.
  16. So if some students came in dressed as Zorro on the way to a fancy dress party would you feel threatened?
  17. Telling people what they can and cannot wear is something you expect from some backward middle eastern sh!t hole like Saudi Arabia. If people are offended by what muslims wear it is their ignorance that is the problem, not the clothes.
  18. I really have heard it all now, this place never ceases to amaze me. West Brom A, Sunderland H, Norwich A, West Ham H is as hard as Man City A, Wigan H, Man Utd H, Arsenal A SWF mongery at it's finest.
  19. The fact that we are 5 points better off so far is meaningless, we havn't had a hard game yet and last year we had a stupidly hard start. Our manager has plenty still to prove. It remains to be seen how much of the good form last season was just riding on the back of what Adkins had set up and/or new manager syndrome.
  20. The problem is she might have been telling the truth, there just wasn't enough evidence to convict. I think it would be fair to give the accused anonymity unless they are found guilty, that way you should have less people making stuff up to drag someones name through the dirt. It may actually lead to more convictions because without that motive jurys might be more inclined to believe the victim.
  21. Roy will always include a big man in the squad.
  22. Decent result though.
  23. A neutral would say the whole team is rubbish.
  24. One sh!t free-kick and one sh!t corner - that is all Young has done so far.
  25. The frustrating thing is Walcott's passes are never miss-hit, he just doesn't understand where to pass it.
