I wouldn't have the faintest clue who the most credible climate scientists are, I'm not a scientist. like I said just look on science websites and make you own mind up, don't just read the cr@p that's in newspapers.

Exactly what proof are you looking for? Next year could be 10 degrees higher than this year yet you skeptics could still say it's not due to man. We know CO2 is a greehouse gas, we know we have been pumping billions of tons into the atmosphere, we know concentrations have gone up and we know there has been a warming trend that ties in with it. If you think something else is causing it show us the evidence, give us your theory.

How can they possibly be way off the mark when they were warning about it back in the 70's and here we are in 2013 and each of the last three decades has been successively warmer. The problem we have had is unless the possible worst case scenario is rammed down the throats of the general public nothing will ever get done. There is still a lot we don't know but if you read up enough about what we do, it is reason to be very concerned. We are basically carrying out one big experiment and the planet that sustains us is what is at stake.

Predictions will never be 100% accurate but the last decade was still the warmest on record despite the sun going through a cooling period. If you can come up with a good scientific reason for the recent warming trend then I could take you scepticism a bit more seriously, unless you do you just look like a complete fool for arguing against a science you know precious little about.

It's always been a mixture of man made and natural causes, if you read the scientific papers and not the Daily Mail you would already know that. Scientists have been warning about global warming since the 70's and the ten warmest years on record have all been since 1998 onwards - maybe they were psychic?

1998 was a freak year, yearly measurements will not rise in a uniform a manner there are too may factors in play. Like I said, just read the science. If you remain ignorant of the science you are not really in a position to disprove it are you?

Try reading the scientific papers on the subject, it's not that hard to understand if you do. Go on, give it a go.

Of the people I know I would say it is much more to do with what you do and your skill set as opposed to how hard you work. The richest guy I know (a good salesman who started his own company) spends half his week on the golf course, he doesn't work nearly as hard as my carpenter mate. I earn more than my mate and I don't work any where as near as many hours because I happen to have a degree and more 'valued' skills. The thing is everyone thinks they work hard, wether they clean loos or run a bank, the idea that pay in today's world is proportional to how hard you work is complete b*ll*x. The system is completely screwed up, people who add no value to society can make millions with a click of a mouse dealing shares while soldiers risk their life doing the hardest job imaginable for absolute peanuts.

Maybe, but I just can't help thinking Labour have messed up. They already had the left wing vote in the bag all they had to do is steal the middle ground and the tories would be screwed. Promising this and that with no thought for the maths behind it will just send alarm bells ringing in most voters.

I did think there was a slight chance of labour winning the next election with the collapse of the Lib Dem vote and the tories losing votes to UKIP. In the last few days Milliband has ruined any idea of that. The way he has been promising this and that reminds me of a 12 year old running badly for school president. The fact that he looks like a wallace and gromit character doesn't help either, you just can't take him seriously. What have labour done? The thought of being stuck with the tories for 5 more years is just depressing.
