From the guy who's consistently made excuses for Lowe's Dutch gamble from day 1. It's obvious to anyone with a brain that we don't stand a chance of staying up unless the club are united behind a manager with Championship experience - that can clearly only happen under Crouch. I fail to see how Crouch going through the trouble to find a decent manager in his own time is a bad thing. lowe is paid to do the job yet has failed miserably so far this season. This club needs Crouch back.

I think in reality they are probably caretakers but have been given a chance to prove themselves. If Wotte proves to be a success the club have saved some cash. I expect real candidates will be lined up/interviewed and the cull made after a few games and the inevitable bad results. If the club didn't have anyone lined up there would have to be a caretaker anyway.

Experience is vital in a relegation battle. Why have we chosen yet another manager with no experience of the Championship to manage a team that is, apart from a few players, very inexperienced?

Of course it matters, you can have 11 great players - that doesn't mean they make a great team. It's the managers job to get the right blend and the right type of players that work together to make a good TEAM.
