  1. You'll only have one free u11 ST per adult one. I was thinking about doing the same as you so could help you out for the odd game.
  2. Been there, fantastic place. I would certainly move there given a chance.
  3. Yep agree with this at the moment, don't expect relegation but there may be a scare along the way.
  4. I can see where you are coming from and this is where investment in the right people is paramount. Do we have the right staff to help produce and cultivate the next generation first teamers?
  5. In five years time I'd like to see Saints finish in the top half, be able to challenge for a domestic cup and have half the team coming from the academy. dreaming it would be able to get to 5th place in the league on the back of a fantastic academy producing almost all of the team and a cup final appearance.
  6. I would imagine it's part of their 'spring' cleaning of their records at the end of season, what with the new ticketing system and potentially higher season ticket sales and (maybe) membership to be offered they need to get details correct (and what better way than get us to enter them)!.
  7. I see an ongoing theme here: "Thomas Mayes Lewin was obsessive about quality...", I don't expect them to sell many!
  8. Most are moving away from the cumbersome flash format. Hence Trouser's post. About time others caught up.
  9. I don't think the focus on money is important, it's getting the right player that fits into the team and better than we have got. So what if it's a new record signing or a lower league player - if they have shown the right attributes they would be worth more than the sake of signing an expensive player because we have the money.
  10. The bit in bold is the key to succeed in the premeirship. We know Morgan and Adam are good passers of the ball, it's all about moving the ball around and being able to have players that create a bit of space to be used - static players are easy to defend against.
  11. ****, **** and poor!
  12. Wasn't there a poll at the start of the season?
  13. Nothing that a bottle of gin could fix right now ;-)
  14. Good luck Moff. How are Hoffman and Elliot rated by the fans?
  15. If Chainrai is the only option left, then much will depend on the make up of unsecured creditors to approve the CVA. Do we know what that is?
  16. That's the worrying thing, his shows and acts are popular!
  17. Wasn't there an April payment for this... it's a bit of a mystery this black hole of PFCs finances!
  18. Felt dirty saying Brighton are a good side when they were due to play West Ham and look where that got us... so not doing it this time!
  19. With an annual wage bill of £21m, they need to off-load as many players as possible even if it's offering the likes of Kitson on a free. Only a few players are good enough to get a fee, even then teams rarely buy early to incur the June salary. It's a long long shot and we'll see if Chanrai thinks he can get more as a club than a liquidated asset. Also I think the next PP is August (not 100% sure) and would be around £4m, but of course there are some football related bills to pay.
  20. and it will not be long before they are out!
  21. It's a question of whether the other components of NCs plan is a success. If that does not happen, is there any point of expansion just for an extra 3,000 or so. I just cannot see a reason for expansion to 45-50k if nothing else changes.
  22. Boll0cks, haven't got sky so it'll be merry Merrington on Saints Player after flying back from San Francisco!
  23. Surely this is only one piece of the strategy that NC has considered and is dependent on the others. It will only happen if, firstly the success on the pitch is there, the southampton style is seen, and the player development continues to improve (shaw, ward-prowse, sinclair etc). Give the fans something good to watch, home grown talent, perhaps a few stars and even a bit of success and they will come, otherwise it'll be like before a mid ranking club selling out a 32k stadium on most matches.
