To all those who think we can wait for next season for promotion
Doctoroncall replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Alps, are you a tabloid writer? what's with the "almost at square one" and "an exodus" or do you have a theory? -
Maybe it's the case of the Doctor still-regenerating? Yes, there were similiarities but DT is a hard act to follow and this episode was promising as an introduction with the return to the Who script writing in Steven Moffat.

They're still in denial: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A65893918 Just when will it sink in?

Thanks, so far I've had no problems with using safari out and about but good to have an alternative especially if it's easier to navigate.

This maybe a silly question, but to paper and pen person, what is the advantage of this access over the web on the phone?

Ummh, piling on the pressure on the players to performed better and get the results, will DW get a booed?

I think it shows the decline of the SPL and the reason why Celtic and Rangers want to join the English Premier League, which with their current line up would struggle if it wasn't for their home form thanks to their respective fans making it such an intimatating atmosphere.

Thank goodness as it was one of the few times I actually took money off the bookies having got decent odds at christmas time before the WC! As for Lambert, he's one of those players that utilises his skills well, has generally more than one way of playing so will get more goals than most one dimensional strikers (e.g. quick or target man). Having said that, his lack of pace will be found out at both Champ and Prem level, he maybe able to adapt better as he seems to have more footballing nause than most players. I don't think he should be considered for England. If Bent makes the England squad then it will show how few attacking options we have, I would prefer to take an extra attack minded midfielder than waste a space on a one dimensional just about adequate prem striker.

That's a bit of an assumption to say someone is negative from only one aspect of the game mentioned. We can only beat the side put in front of us, I'm glad it was Carlisle as they didn't exploit their dominance in midfield because of a great Saints defensive line with them only have Dobie as a striker threat.

Avram: Pld 25 W 8 (4 in cup) D 4 (1 in cup) L 13 (1 in cup) Adams: Pld 22 W 4 D 7 L 11 Hart: Pld 30 W 9 D 6 L 15 I didn't have time to list cup matches for Adams and Hart, but more or less the same losing about 50% of the time.

I liked the fact he missed their penalty shout with Harding holding back Kavanagh with both arms.

It would have been great to see the cup passed to him and one of the players take the photo.

I think it's the case of this is where we currently are but where do we need to be if Pardew is to be a long standing manager for Saints competing in the Premiership. One step at a time with promotion out of League One the focus. Another consideration is how many of these players will be able to compete in the Championship and finally the Premiership as stability on the playing side also is key to winning more games than losing them.

I thought was close to the Bristol Rovers home game.

Saints 4-1 Carlisle - 2010 JPT Champions - Reaction
Doctoroncall replied to Block 5's topic in Golden Posts
Fantastic day out, glad it didn't rain as it looked as if there were quite a few players finding the surface slippery as they kept falling over. What a way to lose my new Wembley stadium cherry with a 4-1 win. On the down side we did too much hoof ball with a weak midfield. Carlisle had some good moments but fortunately didn't have a player to unlock our defense. We took our chances and also shut them out until the end when it was really all over. Harding was great considering he was out of position, in fact all players played their part but disappointed with Mills as he played too much hoof ball. -
I heard boos, but there were plenty coming for each set of fans in the build up. The biggest boos were for the Carlisle fans for not carrying on the mexican wave!

You missed out f*cking hilarious, considering the SoA was produced a few months ago, how is it possible that another ~£20m of debt is found? Have they suddenly been deluged in claims or did Vantis miss something? I can see more points deductions coming their way.
