Succession planning is so important for us if we want to advance in the premier league. At the moment Shaw is doing OK, a few mistakes here and there but hopefully they'll decrease rapidly as he's shown to be an exceptional player with a great temperament. Lose him end of next or more likely a couple of seasons time then he'll be difficult to replace like for like. This is the trap Arsenal have fallen into and where the club can minimise the impact of bringing in a new player by developing players ourselves where players are known and first team suitability can be assessed in a controlled manner.

I think you've got it right that the judge can easily rule on a independent value for the asset, however the sticking point is BC's charge against it hence the need for two days rather than 1 hour slot of presenting independent valuations.
