There, they encountered a man with charisma and commitment. Players described his sessions as "fun" but "intense". He recorded every detail of his matches and set up a system that allowed him not only to use videos before matches but at half time. He made his team aggressive, pushing high up the pitch. He wanted them to keep the ball and play from the back. "There are teams that wait for you and teams that look for you: Espanyol look for you. I feel very close to their style of football," said Pep Guardiola.

I can well understand a potential change in manager considering the circumstances but what about the new man. Is he capable of the next level? What has Cortese et al seen that thinks this man can?

Depends on our line up, if we are missing Clyne and Ramirez I would take it but with only Lallana and Fonte missing we should be in with a decent chance of 3 points. Interesting stat for Chelsea - Home they have only won 2 out of 7, Away 6 out of 7 so a point there may be in reach!

I think that is in year two after the takeover. Besides its not as if they need an academy as they don't use them!
