  1. What is ET short for? Because he's got little legs.
  2. Just remembered... Both my kids suffered from chronic colic and I tried a few things but by far the best was using Dr Brown 's bottles.
  3. Agree with that, it was also being calm with them if intervention was required. They can sense when you're tense!
  4. Did that for my two and all went well, both got into good sleeping patterns and were sleeping through from 9 to 4 after about 9-10 weeks. The thing is to do what is best for both of you. Something you can do now is enjoy your sleep!
  5. He's a loan from Burnley, not sure if it's a short tem loan (to January) or longer though.
  6. We would need more mobile CBs for that to work.
  7. Could you also include players that were already here but at the end of their contract (or loan)? Thinking about Eyal Berkovic (loan) who went to West Ham and Hassan Kachloul who went to Villa (agreed with Ipswich first so a double gazumped).
  8. So PST want the players to drop 75% of their settlement. If they do, Portpin will want the same, if the offer is not matched I'd expect Portpin to be more difficult for PST to negotiate with! I'm surprised there hasn't been a leak of Portpin's new conditions, maybe they're reasonable!!!!
  9. Best of luck Kev, let me know if you want me to look out for anything at my place if you have a change of heart on the sports therapy job.
  10. I think for me it's more to do with the fact that for a PL footballer it's easy to pay a few hundred quid for a chauffeur car if not a taxi than to take a chance of drink driving than the amount he was drinking. I'm sure the backroom guys and Adkins will have plenty to say regarding his performances if he's drinking too much.
  11. I don't think it's fair all this criticism the Porsche Panamera is getting. It's a great car, I have two little 'uns that fit in the back nicely, the ride is quality whether it's a trip into town, a long tour or guzzling the juice around the A roads! and the 2013 version is suppose to be even better.
  12. Nowadays, players earn quite a bit of money in a move. Now if that didn't happen it would be interesting to see what the transfer market would look like and at least the greedy player tag wouldn't be used.
  13. So has anyone seen the pics? (a No from me).
  14. This but with perhaps more of a Swansea outcome when it all clicks into place.
  15. So been away for a week and I see nothing has changed... It's still as funny as ever! It will be interesting to see what Chainrai's new conditions are, has anyone had a guess?
  16. Just caught up on the saga, eight pages in a day... Mental! So if the Trust manages to renegotiate the players contracts (I know it's a longshot), there is nothing stopping BC from riding over the hill again to enter the race?
  17. Bl00dy hell! I find myself in an all day meeting in Switzerland and flying back tonight. Only on now to have a break for some fun!!!
  18. How can you be slightly unprofessional? FFS!
  19. Sorry, must have missed that post FC. It's been a great event, well organised, the crowd have been fantastic and Team GB spectacular!
  20. But is dependent on the owner meeting the commitment, TB will not sign the players. We have a reasonable estimate of what Portpin's budget is now and we know the Trust's budgets from its document and it doesn't look good. If some of the better players are still there then something more in keeping with the skates is going on.
  21. A good article... http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/aug/11/olympics-women-body-image-role-models?newsfeed=true And which athlete are you... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19050139
  22. And then there are the paralympics to come From the 29th Aug for 12 days.
  23. The trouble is, liquidating the club means the end of the PPs.
  24. But he can bleed the club many other ways to get his money even if his secured amount has been reduced. All part of being the owner.
  25. From the guardian league one preview: [h=2]Portsmouth[/h]Story of the summer The fact that we've spent all summer trying to get rid of our entire squad says it all. We've got a team of children and trialists we can't sign, plus a millionaire clinging onto his contract and risking our liquidation. We've been thrashed in pre-season friendlies by Gibraltar and Brighton, but somehow beating Aldershot and then a strong Bolton side has given us a sliver of hope. I'll still be stunned if we manage to put out a team – let alone a competitive one. What the fans want A takeover by the Portsmouth Supporters' Trust. We're not asking for promotion, we're not demanding signings, we're desperate for mere survival and some semblance of stability. What they'll actually get At worst, a takeover by Balram Chainrai and the slow death of the club. At best, immediate liquidation as Tal Ben Haim plays hardball over the remainder of his contract. One to watch It depends hugely on whether we can sign trialists like Izale McLeod or Mustapha Dumbuya. Of the current crop, Sam Magri has captained England under-17s and Portsmouth in pre-season. A centre-back who trialed with Liverpool last season, he could be key to any revival we experience, hopefully we can rebuild around him as he gets the chance to play regularly. We'll finish … the season if we're lucky. Benedict West, Portsmouth fan
