One for Steve and Baj - I've used the contact us link to send a form regarding my Renewal three times but have had no response. Is it functioning properly? As such I'll add here that I paid double last year (25th august if you want to check against your accounts) so should still be a full member. Thanks.

That's me on the left... Oh! Either the flu pandemic or the yellowstone super volcano would have erupted by then and it'll revert back to the 1910 landscape.

Nixon knew the targets but it would be interested to know what happen to each. Did he actually know who was number one? Sometimes it is worth conceding points on a contract if it means getting the right player in to improve the team (especially the defence) considerably. Did the Butner deal collapse only due to the third party payment?

I'm reminded of this favourite business technique in making such difficult decisions - Eeny, meeny, miny, moe...

And who could argue against that... He's got a great record ;-) Nine wins out of 40 games.

So a hat trick of admins in four years. A nice achievement to have, while a Phoenix club could have been rising up the leagues! Nothing like completely missing a golden opportunity to start again.

Agree, but I wouldn't say elite! There are a few ways to prove competence. Each of us learns in different ways. Some of us prefer to study in depth before we tackle a task; others prefer to "get stuck into the job" and learn as we go along. Some of us are satisfied when the methods we use get the job done; others are more concerned with why a particular approach proved successful. Yet others spend time thinking through how the task could be tackled more effectively next time. Each an acceptable way of learning but difficult to show through just one of an exam, practical, coursework or viva. For example, when Nursing degrees became an option they provided people with another avenue into that career (and a different learning style), however, when completed, the practical element can still be a challenge. It might have worked for a few but the mainstream application of nusing is practical hands-on experience. So matching careers with courses is essential... anyway I'm off as I'm late for my fire fighting degree ;-)

Instant Coffee - recommended brand?
Doctoroncall replied to Kingsland Codger's topic in The Muppet Show
Percol - had to get some instant when on holiday in deepest darkest Devon and found that to be good for an instant coffee. -
Many people haven't been able to rest / move on from what was published based on mis-information, cover up and a bizarre cut-off time at the inquest. Hopefully full disclosure will allow those involved (including the police) to progress and close out this sad chapter of their lives. A shame it's taken so long in a democratic country.

Bol!ocks, I'm away next week in sunny Prague stick in meetings so will miss it unless I can sneak out. Early prediction that the concortium will pull out when the minus ten doesn't get overturned or the real people behind it are revealed and everyone lol!

Who said anything about want? You mentioned respect earlier. If you want the rotting carcass, you're welcome to it as it'll provide more amusing times for us with it's financial lodestone to who ever takes control.

Administration isn't a simple matter, this may be why we joke about the Trust bid, even if it is well intended. The club was not in administration, it was only the parent company hence the administrator beating his chest on the legal injustice failing to recognise a members club could impose sanctions as the see fit. Incorrect, he was in the race but the administrator was taken in by the MLT fronted consortium. From the time the parent company were known to be in trouble, only a few months passed to when administration finally arrived, and when it did the administrator acknowledged 30+ interested parties. Not quite the scenario were a fans bid would be successful. Well if you want to be admired, start from scratch, build a decent club from the bottom, the way AFC Wimbledon and FCUM have rather than trying to cling on to something that gives you a head start to try and make it easier. Where is this fighting in the trench attitude suddenly disappeared to? The debt was being paid back, Barclays cut the overdraft, Lowe was performing his financial obligations until that point. The way he didn't wasn't nice but at least the effort was there with selling the high earners, loaning those players unable to sell and a high proportion of the youth team became the first team. When it went t!ts up there were further player sales in the summer, fan funding and High Net Individuals also contributed to keeping SFC going. As said before it wasn't last minute and he saw some value in SFC which has been realised, as he has turned his loan to equity and the value of the club exceeds what he has invested. Which debts; CVA1, football related, CVA2, BC's secured debt, all of it? See above, so don't assume anything, but you yourself admitted to not doing anything bar putting in your pledge to save PFC, so I shouldn't expect much fact finding or analysis here.

It wouldn't surprise me if there are more scummahs than skates on POL!

Steve Bould has done a good job of sorting out their defence which will doesnt help us but at least our performances are getting better. Stop Diaby and Cazorla and we have a chance.

Nah you want to get onto the free ticket gravy train, it's saved me and my mates hundreds of pounds a season.

Saints 2 Man United 3 - Post Match Reactions
Doctoroncall replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
similar things were being said about Swansea and Norwich last season. It took Swansea five games to score a goal. Norwich didn't win a game until the end of September. Both ended up fine and while it doesn't necessarily follow that we will emulate them this year it's still early to panic. -
He has two years to fleece the club out as much money as possible then of course there is value in the ground when liquidation comes looming over Fraton park once more!

See the doc, depending on that assessment follow up with a specialist -Physio or consultant.

You've forgotten Calum Chambers in your review.

Time to start saving then and now you're put pressure on yourself for an August/September arrival ;-)

Maya YOSHIDA - Centre Back - Official on OS
Doctoroncall replied to RonManager's topic in The Saints
Depends on how well he does (and I'm not righting him off) for us before anyone can make that claim. -
some one should set up a parody account (Allen_Neil) to remove the skate slant of things!

They can have up to 8 (4 below a certain age), but can only name 5 in the match day squad. Seems the embargo is pretty meaningless again while the club uses loopholes to get around the 20 player minimum squad limit.

I went to see my doctor yesterday he said I was a paranoid schizophrenic. Well, he didn't actually say that but we knew what he meant.

What is ET short for? Because he's got little legs.
