Futsal - do Saints use this as part of player development?
Doctoroncall posted a topic in The Saints
Read an interesting article on futsal where the FA are finally backing it's use at grassroot level for the development of kids. The national youth futsal final took place last weekend where the Saints (from East Hull) played a Reading side. It's catching on at professional clubs, so do Saints play futsal to help technical development of players? Does anyone have any experience of it? Article found here -
Yes, not a keeper to be seen in that lot! ...and yes Sam Gallagher did come from Plymouth Argyle.

Get well soon and keep off the crisps ;-)

All the best Whitley. When I started working 20 years ago my landlord back then had one and he's still going strong!

In the US, the average calorie in taken has risen by 28% over 30 years.

It's been shown that kids are just as active now as they were 20 odd years ago. It's down to the cr@p diet and too much sugar.

So they must have filed some accounts at the FL... Something PFC hasn't done since summer '09 if I remember correctly!

I think things have moved on in a few ways; the infrastructure to the training ground and academy with the hugh financial investment there needs to be some sort of return. The management organisation with a clear line from academy to first team and the culture/environment of the club where I'd say players want to be. So I'd say the club is doing all it can to make players stay bar offering a huge salary and champions league football.

So is it the time warp, a deloren, groundhog or the time tunnel thats got me here but I've a feeling I been here before!

E.g. Product is low in fat, therefore healthy and as such I can have twice as much ;-)

You should catch up on the series: The men who made us fat. Very interesting stuff on how its a clash of human instinct and food companies creating new markets with a dash of dietary responsibilities. 1 in 3 are obese in the US and 1 in 4 in the UK.

What's with quantity over quality, that somehow doesn't sit right on this thread!
-
The trouble is the first option is open to abuse, depending on what is left of the PPs to purchase reasonable or superior players for league one. Otherwise they have to adhere to the 65% rule in league one.
-
Does anyone know how much of the PPs will be taken up from the football creditors and what as left as 'income' for the club?

Butland is down to be the keeper in the GB team at the Olympics so maybe more highly regarded than TF.

I thought they were not suppose increase the limit anymore, only when requested... mine is still the same as it was three years ago and I haven't been in contact with them and vice versa.

He'll still lose in the semis.

Part of a QMS covers the competency of the workforce. Surely there would have been some risk assessment made in pursuing a major change in workforce as well? I know a company who's IT quality report into the IT project managers!!! A QA function should report higher up the organisation.
-
So how much do senior management take QMS seriously and how independent are the Quality Assurance people?

As corpy is visiting, I'll put up one of my posts that made him mad: ...and let's not forget they are not even servicing the CVA.
-
Is that only league games though? Also it can change in January.

Congrats! I'm sure the memories of sleepiness nights and being in a bad mood are only now coming back, but still doesn't get near the absolute joy of a new born and the unfolding adventure of watching him growing up.

It comes down how long the ball is in that position - i don't think the assistant had a chance to say with 100% certainty the ball was over in a split second. Technology would help of course, but when does it stop as it could help with other incidents - offside, penalty calls, wall 10 yards from freekick, keeper on line at penalties etc.

Did you go through your supplier for the grant? Also, if you are looking after a vulnerable relative that will help your cause. My boiler was on it's last legs and I got a grant, nothing was said about income as it was focused on energy saving. That was a few years ago though.
