  1. Agree with that, some of the decision making when we have the ball in the final third has been poor - either keeping the ball for a second too long or the team are static and there are no runners to either make space for a pass or receive it. Hopefully over time with more confidence and insight from MP they'll start using the ball better. One thing that Ramirez does bring to our game is some of that ability, for instance where Lambert went wide and Ramirez run into the space for that great chance.
  2. We have been royally spoilt with all the stories that came out of fatpipes in the early days, combined with Ho's fantasies and Mack's sensible if not entirely understandable utterings. I can understand being jaded by yet another court postponement or another loss on the pitch. Things will pick up soon.
  3. The high defensive line gets deeper and deeper towards the end of the game and perhaps a bit of panic sets in rather than ball retention and knowing there are a couple of outlets to relieve the pressure would be good too.
  4. What ever you do don't go into the actuary business with CB Fry.
  5. Well, the loser of the last game of the season between Wigan and Villa will go down with QPR and Reading. Coming up are Cardiff, Hull and Leicester.
  6. They haven't so far this season. its a hard game to judge, one which they need to win and be nervous and open to attacks or be relaxed about it and play their natural game. Aguero is a great player, hopefully the Toure brothers will be knackered!
  7. Not quite, they had to not carry 'so much' of the existing debt. A manoeuvre to stop BC from load the new company with what he is owed. I think there was an estimate figure of £5m but cannot be sure, excluding other debts (admin and football).
  8. Probably a draw, we are good at those.
  9. fed up with playing well and losing, time to win ugly!
  10. first row but cannot get rid of the ad!
  11. Someone needs to write a very strongly worded letter to the BBC about this.
  12. It's a sticky plaster over a wound which hasn't stopped bleeding... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2270311/January-transfer-window-doesnt-work--Martin-Samuel.html
  13. I don't think a club can rely on continually changing the squad in an extensive and costly way each window to constantly improve and claim to be ambitious. It's up to the Manager to get the best out of the squad rather than rely on a new purchase to do the job for him, besides the ethos and ambition of the club is to progress as much of the academy products to the first team.
  14. Yeah, only expensive business
  15. All those YouTube clips to go through, we need extra help.
  16. But they do have Roger Espinoza who played extremely well on his debut against Stoke. Him and Beausejour are the ones to watch out for.
  17. Absolutely, for all that dominance and style (which I like), the quality in the final third needs to be much better.
  18. So another Leeds play goes to Norwich in the form of Becchio this time!
  19. The points penalty will be applied at the discretion of the FL, but only after they come out of admin. So it's seems possible they could get points deducted this or next season, however the longer it takes the more likely it will be next season if the current form continues. there are so many scenarios, it needs a decision tree to see all possibilities!
  20. I've got Steve Mcmanaman and Ian ? on ESPN2. Both united luvvies.
  21. I see Nelson is off to Toronto now, is something happening to Hill?
  22. Scratch... Trousers on form tonight!
  23. If we've playing top trumps... Post #28 ;-)
  24. I thought NC downgraded the target to top six in 3 or 4 years, with the caveat of holding on to the core of the squad in his last interview with Jimbo.
