Not just because it's the skates but the whole saga has had so many incidents to make an opera boring by comparison and lastly it's incredibly funny (especially Rallyboy's posts).

The scenario is he buys the club, runs the club on a tight budget, sets up a holding company for the ground and syphons off money that way. Much will depend on how much of the PPs are available to him. If he gets most of his money back in two years he can sell the club to the Trust and rent the ground with a nice annual income.
-
Also your company may have prefered hotels and likely to be chains. Try to restrict it to one or two and sign up to their membership programs to collect points and achieve room upgrades.
-
Generally hotels will have free wifi in the lobby area. Of course this may be problem when saying all the lovey-dovey stuff to the misses in a busy hotel!
-
Just chalk another deadline up that means jack-**** down that way. Don't forget that LL is still hiding in the ticket office.
-
I certainly hope we see more of the Team GB personalities than the usual suspects from Big Brother and the like!
-
I think the big test is to see LL leave rather than the rumoured negotiating a new contract, the standard of players coming in and whether the FL standby their commitment of financial restrictions. Also if Chainrai sets up another company to transfer the ground, then that would be a clear indication he's syphoning off the money, however, nothing has happened yet so it's still not clear what Chainrai game plan is.

Have the fans started to ask questions about the finances of the club or are the like the skates with their heads in the sand?
-
you're showing a bit of naivety there then to believe it was a dead certain medal.
-
What did you say? Expectations were for 49 medals at this Olympics, one more than Beijing.
-
So it'll be interesting to see if the FL are happy with this proposed £4m wage bill fresh out of admin having stated some sort of financial restrictions. From a moral point of view, £0.5m for the creditors and £2m above the league one average is quite sickening.
-
That's quite scary, Olympic proportions of time and dedication to the thread, but are we heading towards the finishing line?
-
I'm sorry but surely people must have learnt by now never to eat or drink while reading this thread. There are so many moments that can risk a keyboard, laptop etc each and every day.
-
I was expecting a picture of a singer with some kind of **** take phrase ;-)
-
And Rangers got liquidated for a similar amount of tax owed.
-
I'm sure this is the first season for League One, however, there will be dispensation for those relegated to League One, but the rules don't state what those are so expect the skates to try and bend the financial restrictions as much as possible... because that is what they do!

The smaller clubs will have to adapt to survive which may mean no academy or scaled right backed. For the smaller clubs there will be a slow transition of philosophy in youth team recruitment which will see them picking up the youngsters that don't fulfil the promise at the PL and championship clubs who will be more demanding on results. The smaller clubs may well lose out on a fee but can get a young player with a decent coaching background for free and add some first team experience it could work out well. It's the loan system that may cause more concern if clubs can hoard young players to loan out for experience.

Never seen the opening ceromony of the Olympics as I'm more interested in the sport. But for this one I will.

I though PFC were still hanging on in there but has one of the few had a premonition of PFC being dead, or they just can't wait? So when will Appy and his tourist party receive the bad news?
-
As the saying goes it's what you do with it that counts! It's all well and good having (one of) the best training facilities but the most important aspects i would say is the staff and the process they have in developing the players. I doubt anyone on here knows much or any of that and can only be judged on the players coming through. I haven't seen the Les Reed saints player article but that may well give some oversight as to what they do from a sports science perspective.

And the largest claimant... Probably why AA is involved to do a deal with his master.
-
But are they...? It's an appealing story to report, where facts don't matter so much as much as the romance of the fans buying/rescuing their club from the big bad corporate wolves!
