On the original point of this thread about away fans in with home fans . For the first time I actually looked at the "Matchday information" on the O.S and saw this Attendees are advised that home end tickets are only to be purchased by Southampton FC fans. Away supporters will not be allowed access to home stands or will be ejected if found in home areas of the ground. I am in the Itchen North and when we point out away fans we are told by the stewards there is nothing they can do if they are not causing trouble . A bit confused by this I must admit.

Guess Djenepo will be an emergency wing back From what I have seen of djenepo in the two st marys friendlies , I think he is more than capable of being wing back. In fact his defensive work was more effective than his attacking.

He has said many times on Solent commentaries that he is a Villa fan and he used to watch them as youngster , but as he has been living in the Southampton area for quite a long time he obviously has an allegiance to Saints .

Think he is on his way back to Chelsea . So no real advantage to playing him today.

I am not taking sides in this argument and I have no doubt that some very bad things have happened in occupied Ukraine but at the start of the conflict we saw pictures of civilian being issued with guns and being trained to use them . I admire their courage and willingness to defend their homeland . Anyone who has been in a combat situation will tell you that if some is shooting at you ,then they are the enemy and you shoot back and not check to see if they are military personnel first ,this COULD account for some of the civilian casualties.
