As someone has previously stated no signing are likely to be completed before July 1st for financial reasons. Makes perfect sense to me.

I for one will be enjoying a few (maybe quite a lot of ) beers with other Saints Fans in a covid safe environment. It is in a FA cup semi-final FFS just enjoy it win or lose. They don't happen very often.

When ever the match is scheduled for there is SFA we can do about it ,so no point in whinging . But we can all start keeping our eyes and ears open for public spaces( i.e pubs and clubs with large outside areas) that may be showing the match live . It would be great to be with other Saints fans having a few beers win or lose. I have been told that there is a large marquee being erected outside The Saints pub in Millbrook , could be a possibility ?

The team we should be focusing on is Fulham , as they are in the last relegation place and their next 3 games are Spurs , Liverpool and Man City . I really don't see them getting many points from those 3 . So although not getting a decent result against Sheffield Utd would be bad for confidence it probably wont make much difference to league position compared to them.

If I remember correctly we had terrible run of results around about the time of the 5th Round -Q/Final of the F.A cup in 1976 . One win in about 7 and lost to some pretty poor teams . Picked up again after the Bradford game and ended up about mid table.

I have just been looking at the teams below us remaining fixtures . Newcastle in particular is horrific . I worked out that 35 points will be enough to stay up, then I realised that I had both Newcastle and Fulham winning the last game of the season . Basically 2 more wins and we are safe .

Well I must admit that in my 50+ years of supporting Saints there have been many more times I felt lower than at the moment. Bad couple of weeks that is all.
