Agree completely. As has been said many times before, under Puel a number of our previously strong performing players are below par - that is down to Puel. I struggle to see how a team as talented as we have can consistently play such turgid, blunt and disjointed football. We're very good at playing the ball around at the back but once it goes forward we are devoid of ideas. Frustratingly this is what we used to be so good at. Yesterday looked like we had taken a number of steps back, complete with players arguing with each other.

I know from someone who used to be on the board, still with contacts in the club, that he was, allegedly, stoked up by his agent and behaving like a right bellend...in the end he had to move on. All started when he got his new agent who influenced him to play up like a pr1ck, which he duly did and this impacted everything including dressing room so he had to go. He burnt his bridge with us and deserves the appropriate reaction on saturday.

Compare all this to the spirit, mood, excitement and supportive atmosphere of our return to the prem - a huge contrast! How sad.

Both teams need to "respond" and stop the rot - totally unpredictable in terms of outcome as I've not seen much of Leicester but based on our turgid style of play I'm confident it will be a low scoring affair despite many possibilities. Unfair criticism of forster - imagine the pressure he is under when he knows that he must save everything as we can't score ourselves. Besides apparently the goal was deflected.

And Tadic scored about the same - Puel might not be responsible for investing in the team but he is directly accountable for how his coaching has impacted the performances of the players. An alarming number seem to be having poor season. No wonder fonte wants out.
