  1. His agent is a disgrace, we also sell lots of players to Arsenal, FFS!
  2. Since the takeover Koeman by some distance for me. Perhaps the saddest thing was that SFC and Ron appeared to be a great fit, and I genuinely thought he was going to be at the club long term and win things here. Outwardly he seemed to love the club, the fans, and living in the area - the sticking point a difference of opinion in the Boardroom. In this sense there are comparisons with the Strachan era (another partisan delight with charisma welded to common sense), with a frustrating exit at seemingly the height of his powers. Not perfect Ron, but a winner who knew how to win games. Early days, but I think both Saints and Koeman will regret not trying harder at conciliation.
  3. Oldhamgate...
  4. When Les Dennis is called upon to open a School Fete, it will draw a crowd, some of the crowd will creep and fawn even though it's only f*cking Les Dennis at a School Fete. It's a matter of personal perspective and self-confidence, I suppose.
  5. Surprised this exclusive info filtered down to Leandre in the French fifth division.
  6. Current manager and squad, 11-14 or thereabouts.
  7. I'd be surprised to see Eric 'Albatross' Black still here...
  8. Brace for more boos, Leslie!
  9. Allowing for the usual four hour lunch and six hour Mogadon press conference, it's unlikely to happen before the deadline...
  10. Nicola, is that you? We knew you'd come back to us... :-D
  11. It's a thankless and cut-throat world in crisis PR, but don't be so pessimistic Seb, it's a results business. If you are going to suggest Spurs rejects go with André Villas-Boas to lead the fight back in the new year. Perhaps with Hoddle as resident messiah / turbulent priest / director of football...
  12. Nail on the head!
  13. Crisis Management Report LRRC 27, codename 'The Peasants are Revolting'. Get it on my desk first thing Monday morning, scrub that, allowing for the bank holiday first thing Tuesday morning...
  14. Blushes saved but papering over the cracks, I fear. Spineless, clueless, toothless. We would have ripped this side apart last season.
  15. 65% possession, 3 shots on goal. All filler no killer...
  16. He's fat, he's round, makes Kat millions of pounds, Leslie Reed, Leslie Reed...
  17. Me too, perhaps a line in the sand will be drawn this time. That, or we will let him go for £6M (plus impossible 'add ons') and do a PR special on Maya Yoshida...
  18. Superb! Clever boy...
  19. Men vs boys here (plus bent ref). PH and VVD our best players by a country mile, but both looking increasingly frustrated with the shortcomings of team mates. Austin for Redmond asap for me, give our CF half an hour.
  20. All filler no killer at the moment. Tidy (with the exception of Cedric) but blunt, very blunt!
  21. Nobody seems to like him And he doesn't give a f*ck And he never shows his feelings But our Puel on the hill Sees Pompey scum going down And the eyes in his head Sees the Saints gaining ground Oh, round, round, round, round, round And he never listen to them He knows that they're the fools But they don't like him But our Puel on the hill Sees Pompey scum going down And the eyes in his head Sees the Saints gaining ground Oh, round, round, round, round, round Oh, when the Saints go Marching In…
  22. Top ten, good run in Europe and the domestic cups (a win to drive us forward is well overdue).
  23. The concept is based on the dating software developed by Match.com, which brought Les and Ralph together after years on the shelf. It includes variables such as height, weight, hobbies, pets and sense of humour. A negatively weighted 'randiness' quotient was added after Pardew was sacked.
  24. A la Puel Sturrock...
  25. Yes, I think there is some mileage here. I may well be that Jose saw the fixture list and saw his first home game as a potential banana skin - bearing in mind Saints went neck and neck with United last season. If this is the case, Fonte has been played, like a banjo...
