  1. Hope we got in the face of that wee dick Stansfield
  2. Was going to say that Mowbray already did a number on us this season, but just seen that hes stepped away from the job for a period to deal with an illness. Wish him well. We simply need to win this. The first of three big games (they're all big I know) before we get a well earned three week break. It just feels like the team is running on fumes at the moment with the amount of games we've had, the drop in performance and the injuries we're picking up. If we can somehow pick up 9 points before the break then we'll have given ourselves a great chance for the run in. 2-1 win 🤞🏼
  3. It definitely wasnt as embarrassing as this post. Tragic
  4. If they had TAA playing, then even the myth that is Kamaldeen Sulemana would have a field day. A horrible defender who is already being by upstaged by the kid Bradley
  5. What a stupid take that is. If we dont go up this season then we'll be losing KWP, THB, Downes, Bednarek and maybe more. We'll very likely be a weaker side starting next season with no guarantee of getting out of the division anytime soon. People said the same about Bournemouth or Forest the last two seasons, but they've managed to do just fine and will likely be safe again this season. Frankly, we dont know how well we would do in the PL next season based on a FA Cup game away to Liverpool where both sides were heavily changed
  6. Keeps Edward in a job a little longer
  7. Still to play 7 of the 9 teams directly below them during the run in - Bolton, Barnsley, Derby, Peterboro, Oxford, Blackpool and Lincoln. If anybody can piss it away they can
  8. Was going to say that myself. Villa and Northern Ireland were quick off the mark
  9. What a wild 11 days or so. From having the opportunity to go 4 points clear of Leeds when we played Bristol City, to now being 5 points adrift 🤮. The Bristol City and Hull City defeats I can live with. Both can be good teams, which they showed, and we weren't at it, which happens. Today's result is an absolute stinker however. Home to a team who had lost 6 of their last 7, who we knew were going to very direct and very physical. Yet we gifted them the win. Whats more baffling, is that in the middle of all the above we had a very assured and dominating performance away to a good WBA side. The defence has fallen away, think its 10 conceded in our last 5 and Liverpool's 1st/2nd mix team will certainly add to that during the week. Seem to recall that Calderwood got alot of praise on here as his arrival coincided with our run of clean sheets. Well he needs to fix it and fast, because we're still scoring goals and creating chances at the other end (although didnt take some today). Having Downes back will also help. For any remaining hope of getting top two, we'll likely need to win at least 11 of our last 12 games. Not impossible, but just cant see it the way we're playing at the moment. We'll need to hope we can do it over three games in the playoffs.
  10. 22 games flattered us. Holy fuck 😂😂😂
  11. Ipswich with a very late winner as well. Time for bed
  12. Definitely seems like we're targeting the Irish market a bit more. Signed Joe O'Brien Whitmarsh from Cork City last month and now this link. We were also linked with signing Jack Hastings from Larne who play in the Northern Irish Premier League. Sport Republic were also interested in buying Shelbourne a while back
  13. 9-0 Leicester please
  14. Whats he need to do to win you over? A 30 game unbeaten run? Bizarre
  15. Simply lovely. Restricted WBA to very little and although I thought we could have been a bit better in the final third, two great moves and two goals. Baz, the back four (Stephens had a few shaky moments but what right footed CB wants to be playing LB), Stu, Willy and Fraser wereall very good. Also thought Mara had some nice interchange and lovely touches against the man mountain he was against. Just lacked a bit of composure . Subs made a big difference again, just like Hudders. Brooks, Edozie and Joe (how calm and controlled is he, becoming one of my favourite players) gave us a different threat, compared with their triple sub which did nothing for them. Kudos to RM again. I honestly thought WBA were more than set piece and long throw merchants. It was like watching mid 2000s Stoke. Shite. I seen it mentioned already, Andy Hinchcliffe on commentary - what a bellend. Was getting on like Stephens had saved the ball with outstreched arms fs and how it changed the game. Thought the ref did well. Onwards and upwards
  16. We've the second best away record in the league (win 8 draw 5 lost 3) 🤷🏼‍♂️
  17. The Athletic is reporting that Wilcox would report to the Sporting Director, which would be Ashworth. Although it would be very tempting for Wilcox, he wouldnt be in control of everything as he is here
  18. We'll sure we've known since September that automatic was gone, tell us something new
  19. Commentators cant contain their excitement with the 'run is over' bollocks
  20. Standard SWF. One defeat and the world is ending. If we lose on Friday people will be calling for RM to be sacked
  21. First defeat in forever and they're straight out of the woodwork with their negativity
  22. Sulemana might be the worst signing we've made since Carrillo. Offers fuck all
  23. Sulemana has done nothing to deserve a start. AA has to play. Yes he didnt have a great game today but his numbers speak for themselves this season. Toss up between Charles and Willy.
  24. Any good posts from that wanky Udders forum? I'm sure they are absolutely gutted 😂
  25. Big Colin Calderwood wont be happy with the defending today. The resilience we've built is unbelievable. Even at 2 down I thought we would still get something. Didnt expect 5 in the second half though. Some lovely play to get us over the line. Fair play to Udders, if they give the manager the job and play like that more regularly they'll stay up no problem.
