Ralph really seems reluctant to make subs/give Tella game time. Really flat game for Djenepo yesterday, surprised Tella didnt make it on (rather than moving theo).

Thought Che was immense today. Not just the two Theo chances but regularly dropping deep and spraying it about. His hard, flat balls to the wing are excellent.

It might just be me, but I always felt he was very good going forward, decent on the ball and a good cross on him but not great defensively. Always looked more comfortable in a back 5. If the Mæhle rumours are correct then that's the end of him at right back, could he be useful on the wing?

Hiding the tree is weird. I would say getting rid of the "Southampton FC" at the top (and unhiding the tree) and then just putting S F C in the stripes at the bottom would be a decent improvement.

He's a very good defender and footballer other than his lack of pace/agility. If that's not exposed (or he doesn't expose it himself) he's always looked decent. Maybe he's adjusted and learn how to avoid getting caught out so much.

Can't imagine having to see loads of spotty teens shouting mush every few seconds can help with performance, maybe our fans staying away is a good thing.

I think a front two of Adams and Long, if we play to take advantage of their work rate, could be effective. Should win plenty of free kicks near the area.

Agree with what was said above, think it all comes down to Pennsylvania. That's why they're both campaigning so hard there.

Isn't the issue that DCL is primarily a target man/poacher, whereas Wilson is an off the shoulder, run in behind type. The latter is more successful against JV.

Ings is clearly a better player, he's genuinely Champions League quality and we're lucky to have him. I'd struggle to say which is my preferred Saints legend though - probably still Rickie for now.

I'd be content with another 2 seasons with Ralph. 3 1/2 years would be the longest in my living memory and would leave us in good condition - as long as we don't cock up his replacement.

Redmond is clearly a confidence player, but in my opinion when he's not at his best he's still a good player (good in transition, good team player) and when he's at his best he's a superb player.

Anyone know who's coming in for them? Kenny, Sigurðsson and Iwobi?
