No, true. Maybe a half and half, but if Salisu can't defend competently against a League One side it would be good to know before the end of January.
-
Would like to see a full second XI against Shrewsbury, Salisu debut hopefully, but also others like N'Lundulu and Valery.
-
Very competitive position atm. He has a Scottish grandparent, apparently that angles being tried.
-
Yep, would be a huge temptation.

Saints vs Sheff Utd - Match & Reaction Thread

Che has been brilliant, hes so good at receiving the ball around 30 yards out, turning and playing a clever ball through. We have a very good front 2. -
Think it's a good sign that hes keen to impress in the B games. No inclination that he thinks hes made it.
-
£75 million we should take, that'd buy us 6 Salisus. I do wonder if we're safe but not getting Europe come late January whether we decide to cash in, would potentially make sense.
-
Any of the clubs would if they thought it was the difference between silverware or not. I wouldn't be that surprised to even see City of Liverpool see him as a very good option.
-
In case it's not clear, let me explain the difference between "not doing something" and "doing something". Not doing something is not doing a thing that you could do. Doing something is doing something you don't have to. Not clapping = not doing something, in this situation you are not making a conscious effort to voice opposition to something, you might just not care. Booing an anti-racist action = doing something, in this situation you are making a conscious effort to show you are against the anti-racist action.
-
They do. Lots of people pretend that it's because of BLM and their apparent marxism, but they don't really care about that, it's just a convenient argument that makes them look less racist/anti-anti-racist.
-
The good thing about all this, is no matter how much people argue, the "lEfT wInG aGeNdA" will win out. There is a much more to be gained, socially and financially by being pro-actively anti-racist than to pander to the angry anti-woke mob.

Palace looked decent enough but WBA just capitulated. I'd be worried if I were a Baggie.
-
You could. But it's cost benefit thing. The term "Nanny State" is one of the most meaningless in the English language, needs binning.

Would the world really be a worse place if they banned online gambling?
-
Doubt he would move for money, he'll have made a packet already and can smash the cheds in far away lands later on. I do agree that he must be tempted to move to a club with a major trophy hit rate of more than 1 every 150 years.
-
So it would make a difference?
-
Very good news. He's fundamentally a very good defender. Probably a few years off his peak too.
-
Which show will he take Boris on?
-
He's looked sharp. Must be a better option than Long.
-
There was a lot of pre-ordering from governments at a reduced price (I assume with the risk you might not get what you paid for). That will have offset a lot of it.
-
Excellent news and what a boon for the scientific community to achieve it so quickly! Hopefully all travel and entertainment companies ban anti-vaxxers and we can enjoy these things without the dribblers.
-
Agreed. The biggest issue yesterday is we had no impetus from the bench. Imagine being able to bring on Ings and Redmond on the 60 minute mark, would give us a huge boost.
-
Offering Long a new 2 year contract - Mistake?

During that last half year of Koeman's reign, alongside Mane, he was excellent. He's been a decent team player at times as a support for a much better player, but agree I think his time is done. -
What we saw today is that our team cant defend against top class players who turn it on. Less of a problem with Brighton. I'd move Walcott out to left with Ings coming in.
-
Sigh. They turned it on in the second half and we fell apart, which is our biggest problem. Clearly Ralph doesnt trust his bench players, depth needed.
