'La'??? -
Which makes him a 'freelancer' then? In which case he should know his contract can be cancelled at any time....

I need my eyes testing, I read that as Licks (although, apparently, that's not too far from the truth).

Despite the claims of Braverman (she's wrong by the way), I'm not sure you've truly grasped what 'people smuggling' actually entails. For the overwhelming majority, they end up as 'modern day slaves' paying back the fees for their passage and the promise of a better life. Most of them don't even have a change of clothes let alone a large bag stuffed full of readies. It's quite ironic that those clamouring for the boats not to be stopped are likely the same people clamouring for the statues to be torn down, whilst not realising they are technically supporting the modern version of slavery. Stopping the boats is good as it will reduce the slavery and exploitation. Maybe if that was outlined, more people would accept it - but I appreciate that isn't the headline grabber in the run up to an election. -

Did she mention 'those' people? -
Surely she means the squirrels bring the food and drink to the tables?

More to the point, why would a top club want to hire OUR data scientist? Not exactly proved themselves to be worth their weight in gold recently....

Not sure it's the topic per se... Seems to be an issue with Twitter.... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-64863450

Except he even managed to fuck that up and "released" (for the thickies, yes, I'm being sarcastic and don't really believe he released anything) Omicron, which only served to put more money in the coffers of Kleenex.

Isn't the more pertinent question; how the fuck did the Health Secretary, in the midst of a pandemic, have the time to send over 100,000 whatsapp messages in a short period of time, the majority of which were mindless drivel? Perhaps if he had focussed more on his job....

Like some of our players, if I was paid many millions of pounds every year on a lucrative multi year contract, I wouldn't give a flying fuck how anyone described me for not playing well. -

To be fair, it's mainly commentators that spout that guff. The chart proves nothing either way... -

Er, nope. The label states the X axis is "total pass completion %". As ever with stats though they can be interpreted in many ways. As mentioned, the completion relies on the receiver of the ball being competent. Baz could drop a 60 yard pass directly onto Armstrong's foot, but if he misses it completely it would be considered incomplete. -

It's not slagging him off, merely answering the question and elaborating on his 'dodgy' moments. Most of the rest of your post is whataboutery. Not sure if you've noticed, but Bednarek ALWAYS blames everyone else for everything, even when things go right! For him, he had a reasonable game yesterday, doesn't mean there weren't dodgy moments, doesn't mean he's suddenly become a world beater. -

A number of his 'clearances' to safety went straight up whilst he just retreated with a 'job done' look on his face ensuring the resulting moon landing was someone else's problem. Ducking in front of their attackers giving him a free header at goal. Consistently being two yards deeper than all our other defenders giving their forwards more space and keeping them on side. -

Or our 'potent' strike force -
You've taken a rather peculiar hill on which to make a stand. The rules for giving a penalty are very clear and rely on the player commiting an offence inside the penalty area that would ordinarily result in a direct free kick. The rules governing a direct free kick can be found here but include : Your previous assertion that any single Newton being exerted is incorrect as the offence MUST be either careless, reckless or have excessive force. Since DCC wasn't sent off, we can rule out 'excessive force' (but honestly, anyone with functioning eyes and any measure of common sense could see there was no excessive force!). Given that DCC received a yellow card, we can assume that the ref ruled out careless and went with reckless. The FA's definition of reckless states the player must act with 'disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, an opponent'. The pertinent word here is 'danger'. What 'danger' was there and what were the 'consequences' of DCC's limp wristed backhand slap? At most there would be a small crease on the shirt! The ref got the decision wrong, plain and simple. The fact that DCC reacted is irrelevant, I think we all agree that he shouldn't have, but equally we can all see that there was no 'foul' committed and the ref fucked the decision up. I'm all for following the rules, but they need to be applied as they are written and not made up on the spot.

It's clear in the rule book that you are not allowed to tug someone's shirt, you're not allowed to pull someone's arm. You don't appear to be trumpeting all the times that happened during the game (from both sides) and demanding that free kicks and penalties were given for each occasion no matter how many Newtons were exerted. I haven't seen you moaning about the push from the Chelsea player on Salisu and demanding a red card be given when he was walking slowly off the pitch - plenty of Newtons dished out there but your silence is telling.

Is football now a non contact sport? Perhaps they should run around with little tags on their shorts and give the ball over if they have one taken off.
