  1. AS many updates as possible please...loking forward to reading a good game on here as well as at the match
  2. I'll settle for a Saints win. I'd love to be there. Will be taking my son and daughter to their first games this season, hopefully in December...let's keep the winning run going!
  3. If you could gauarantee it, I'd accept it....but just ask Leeds et al how difficult it is to ghet promotiooon. We should alweays aim to go up FAST, ie this season, not next. There is noone in gthe league Saints should fear. As confidence rises, both amongst supporters and players so the belief in the promotion bandwagon gathers pace. The players will now, for the first time in years, be believing in each other. Strong willed captains on the pitch, being tough with each other as well as the opposition, will make this a seasn to remember! Believe!
  4. At last we have a team where there are scorers all over the pitch. Confidence must be rising fast! COYR
  5. COYR....about time I posted, as I've just read the forum for the last month. We will win, 3 :1 i predict...having played badly for 1st 45 minutes!
  6. Is it me, or do I sense everything moving in the right direction...and with the defence tightening up the first victory can't be too far away. Maybe Charlton is too early(1:1), but the following week..
  7. Please can we get a win first..off anyone's backside...then thrash someone. We need points first..and then the fun can begin or is that too pessimistic?
  8. BTW, back on thread I reckon we'll sign one and have three out today. ;-) Who, in your opinion, is leaving?
  9. Made me LOL, well done!
  10. Great video. Thanks. The only way is up!
  11. Doubt it, not having signed a 4 year contract last week- darren ferguson that is
  12. Any of those will make me happy, but either 2 or 4 would be very satisfying
  13. What about WGS as DoF and Tisdale, Adams or Darren Ferguson as manager?
  14. Leon Crouch is a man whom I have high regard for. He is successful in his own field, beyond any of us on here I would guess. He did, it would appear, try and cut costs in his short time as chairman prior to the return of RL. He did appoint Pearson who helped galvanise the players and, perhaps as importantly, began drawing the fans back into a united group. He does wear his heart on his sleeve, and probably calls a spade a spade, but I, for one, prefer that approach in this arena, than one of a "diplomat"/ slippery eel/liar. We all know LC has spent his own money, massive by my standards, to help the club. He's not perfect, nor am I, nor anyone else I know, but at least he has some integrity. I hope to meet the man one day and have a good honest discussion about Saints, argue about players etc and enjoy the debate. If he's not involved with any takeover, at least he can hold his head high and sit next to fellow supporters!
  15. Ouch! But do you know of any "active" bidder to save Saints, Morph?
  16. It may be rubbish, but I wonder shy the writer suggested Fry may make a statement tonight?
  17. As I asked earlier in this thread. Has it been pulled because the names were relevant? If so, I hav no problem with it. Or was it theft of an email? Or just poor speling? or libelous?
  18. Oh, I clicked on the link and was directed to tell the admins that the link wasn't working. I did tell them. Has it been pulled because of sensitive details?
  19. What happened to FF's thread about questions that needed answering? He named the original pinnacle people in it.Anyone know?
  20. OH, and the best team goal ever, scored by Channon, after a superb one touch passing move that involved King Kev..and Cassells too!!
  21. Saints 4 Ipswich 3- fantastic comback in the 80's Many a match watching Channon, keegan, et al in the late 70s and early 80's! Never felt we'd lose!!!!! A fantastic feeling!
  22. Can anyone put up a link?
  23. Ah...think like Sir Humphrey (Yes Minister for the young uns)...
  24. Disagree about "on current form"- -10 points is a DISASTER- Look how many team would have dropped into the bottom 4 in League one if they had been docked 10 points. Leeds played VERY well AND were lucky to get such a good run going. After the last few seasons we need all the help we can get. Also, I think we don't deserve the -10 as we weren't in administration.. simply and legally. It should be fought, and then if Pinnacle get nowhere, then at least they can say they tried. I'd HATE to get to May next year and be blaming Pinnackle for not challenging the deductionj when we just missed out on promotion/playoffs or, even worse, were relegated because of the deduction! IMHO of course
