Football's gone mad. It's overpriced and Mr average just won't put up with it anymore. My nephew binned his season ticket this year - too expensive ( and he has a good job) to hand pick the odd game. My brother used to go to 15 ish games a season, he now goes to about 5 or 6. Sooner or later it will come to a head. I have a season ticket but it may be my last year, was gonna take the kids to bristolcity game but not now - another £50 evening with travel. Can't blame the west ham fans - it's getting beyond the average fan.

another one for decent real beer is the Duke of Wellington in Bugle street. Not exactly rockin' but nice beer before or after the game.

Me to. It was an interesting book rather than a great read. He clearly suffered from a stinging divorce judgment but at the same time in his early days he says he was earning more money than he really knew what to do with (as a 19 year old at Boro). Saving some for a rainy day might have helped !!. Clearly he and Bobby Robson didn't see eye to eye hence his lack of caps. To be fair the OP has a point. I'm loving the quality of signings but would be foolish to not think about the future. However, the huge increase in Sky money covers the over inflated prices. Looking so forward to this seasons now if not with a little trepidation.
