  1. Sorry to hear this but if the Heroin bit is true why anyone messes with that stuff is beyond me...
  2. Darlington have gone... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/darlington/7909576.stm
  3. Anyone else catch Beattie's reaction after scoring for Stoke yesterday...the usual 'SCUMMER,SCUMMER' chants at him from the blue few when waiting to take the penalty and then him running alongside them with his hands cupped to his ears and then screaming in delight...he still has a soft spot for us...!!!
  4. dear oh dear, a thread i started on how to get more fans in the ground is used as a school playground by two petulant little boys..get a grip and grow up.
  5. no thanks, half decent player, 1/4 decent manager
  6. not sure about this and can't find it anywhere - how can this be right when all clubs in the league have different admission prices anyway? Nice to see the overwhelming majority in support.
  7. Putting doom, gloom and despondency to one side for a mo ... If they really wanted fans to come and support us, to try and give us a fighting chance to stay up ...why for the last 6 or 7 home games do they not slash the prices and i mean slash them. Offer them at £10 a shot and £5 for season tkt holders (or even an occasional free one). Youths/OAPs £5 Fat chance probably but worth a go? Do something, please.
  8. i was there shouting at Branfoot and I was there the other week shouting at Lowe, in between we've had some highs and (quite) a few lows - one very Lowe. Still my team ,my infuriating, underperforming, frustrating, costly team I've followed to far out reaches of Europe But I still love 'em.
  9. Jack Sparrow...? (but Bally was the best Capt I have seen to date )
  10. MATCH STATS: AT A GLANCE POSSESSION 47% Bristol City 53% Southampton ????
  11. missed the first half but see we saved penalty....have we improved, doesn't sound too bad...
  12. What odds we keep 11 men on the pitch....?
  13. can't believe i'm here listening again hoping we can get something....Come on Saints
  14. what are we going to moan about tomorrow between 3 and 5 now then?
  15. ESB - I have been thinking this for some time. Certainly possible and very achievable
  16. Do the march then get in the ground and 100% behind the team. No squabbles, no anti Pom**y songs, no handbgas with fellow fans just good old fashioned positive support of OUR team. Save the boo's and negative until the end (hoping we won't have to). The TEAM need our support like never before and you can bet the 3200 Swansea fans will be noisy. Perhaps a 'One Nathan Dyer' beforehand will get them on side and create a great atmosphere. Boy do we need to get behind them tomorrow.
  17. he said willy
  18. 17258
  19. Whilst it would be a decent gesture it is impracticable to do it each time a true saint passes away. Best wishes to his family.
  20. Quote from Dave Merrington on Solent.... 'The lad McGoldrick just looks disinterested. I don't think he's broken sweat all game...' Sounds like his normal game then ! Come on Saints - we can do it..
  21. wave your surrender hankies here..!
  22. yes, forgotten that one...!
  23. I remember in the Branfoot era - towards the end of his tenure, when nearly the entire Dell waved white hankies when he walked up the touchline in protest. It sounded naff but actually looked very good. Easy to bring in to the ground, no chance of it being confiscated and make a point at the Man U game, on Live, International telly with probably all the board present and a full house...??? We have to start making a point...
  24. and mine !
