  1. Wow...a deal like that would be worth hundreds and thousands.
  2. ...with a big thanks to the two and a half thousand brizzol fans who packed the away end.
  3. Berbatov when Fulham came to St Mary's. Disgracefully lazy ****.
  4. Yep, very nice shirt, very traditional for us with the deep cherry red stripes and dark blue (the skates were still wearing pink back in those days). Only problem is it's adidas and if the rumours are true...
  5. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/11042014-ralph-krueger-saints-foundation-big-bike-challenge-1483314.aspx Deserves a mention, the Foundation support some great projects...and Ralph needs a few sponsors.
  6. If we start now could we build another tier over the Kingsland by May?
  7. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/11124187.BREAKING__Explosion_and_fire_in_student_block/
  8. http://m.101greatgoals.com/blog/tiki-taka-golazo-billy-sharp-finishes-off-doncasters-28-pass-move-v-leeds-video/ Nice to see an ex-Saint doing to Leeds what they did to us back in the early 70s at Elland Road.
  9. Was I at a different game then? They took a smaller allocation than available and there were plenty of empty seats in their section. 2k is still a very good following for that distance, we would know, we've played Sunderland away 3 times and been to their place too in the last few months. The only way they can take any credit for a 'full house' on Saturday is because they sent back so many tickets that were then sold on to our lot. This meant there were probably more Saints fans inside SMS at the weekend than at any other game this season.
  10. It's good...but may have to be the first wrap-around shirt sponsor.
  11. I think the word we're all looking for here is "cheat". Again.
  12. Talking of thick skates... http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/forum/107564/blue-few-mugs-****ing-on-club-coach/#25 Despite their buds getting f*cked off the job trying to put a skate shirt in a wall at the new training ground, these f*ckwits will today pick up their P45s. Easily identified, Tony is just 3'6", while Froggie is well known for not possessing any genitalia. Oh, and their mates put all their details over the web.
  13. 40 miles straight down the M6 and free coaches for those that want it. Stoke's away support is poor numbers wise these days.
  14. My Money's on northendskate pretending to be westendsaint tbh. They're looking for sympathy again. Dirty cheating skate b'stards.
  15. Yep, nice one, saw that on the UI yesterday, could become a classic, if... That and Sha-la-la, the only 2 acceptable skate songs as they don't include the 'P' word. Altogether now... Oh, the grand old Duke of York He had 11 men He marched them down to fratton park To send them down again
  16. 10k? Fookin' minnows. Didn't Totton take 20,000?
  17. I would say Safe Standing is actually the safest way to watch football. Unless you can get people to remain seated at all times throughout the match then you have the potential for it to become unsafe. When everyone jumps up as a goal is scored or something controversial happens on the pitch, or if a fight was to breakout, then you have the potential for fans falling forwards over the people in front. You'll never get fans to remain seated when a goal goes in. If you have a designated standing space with a chest high barrier this can't happen. As someone said, the argument against is purely emotive, not logical. Everyone should have the choice.
  18. Are you 'avin a larf?
  19. Quick, order another 1,698 and we can all go for free!
  20. Most clubs only take the lower tier, around 1,700 tickets, probably all we'd have taken even if it wasn't on TV and early kick-off oop north. Will be more than enough all things considered.
  21. You see, this is exactly the reason why they need to stay in this league, not go up, not go down, because it's the only time they can say, with any justification that they're "a big club"...for League Two. Although that may change once the extra cheap tickets and "fans owned" (there go my sides) hype wears off.
  22. I've always liked Chris Evans, he went right up in my estimation when he announced to the nation (this is not a limerick BTW) on TGIF that his bud El Tel had just bought p*mpey for a quid and couldn't understand why he'd wasted his money on a "Mickey Mouse" club.
  23. ...or we used to use for Neil Shipperly.
  24. 'SFC' won 3-1 BTW. Fiesty affair.
  25. Just settling down to watch the Sydney derby again on BT Sports, wonder if the Palace 'Ultras' are up to this lot?
