  1. Yep 12-man skates 1 v 11-man Saints 5 (mid 90s) John Milkins testimonial (c 1970) skates 0 v Saints 7 (seven!)
  2. Officially 9,000 and plenty more around the ground, but yeah, was a sweet moment.
  3. Was this all before or after that terrible "docks strike"? They really must be the most deluded bunch of cretins to walk this earth, they've spent far too long on that little fantasy island of theirs, this is what happens when inbreeding is allowed to get out of control.
  4. Yeah but...a 3 year old's brain isn't that well advanced mack
  5. It would make a great film caper wouldn't it? With trouble brewing with the local shopkeepers recently over their plans with Tesco it gave me an idea for a new sitcom but I feel it may have already been done, early sketches but... ...but you're right, a 'Carry On' film could be a blockbuster!
  6. http://mobile.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier+League/Southampton All your links to the top stories on Saints and to see where all our stars are going in the January transfer window.
  7. Fans sh*t on yet again. Not that this would suit some of us but this is crying out for the 'away supporters fund' being used to lay on free coaches. I bet Everton are laughing their b*ll*cks off, a top end of table clash and they've just got Saints to agree with wiping out a big chunk of their travelling support.
  8. ST holders get first dibs on seats. All ticket Youth team game!
  9. Those open top bus tours when they get a point just aren't the same these days.
  10. Yeah, funnily enough I thought the same thing, so maybe "Malcolm?!, f***ing Malcolm?! You f***ing ****!! The 'M' stands for Mauricio you ****, not f***ing Malcolm you f***ing ****"
  11. Ignore what I said
  12. It may be worth seeing if you can get a refund, I'd be amazed if you couldn't, particularly as they've shafted fans by the late change of date. You'll probably struggle to shift them tbh, I'd contact the TO and explain.
  13. Tokyo-Saint = OK to sanity that can't be right! ...and totally Saints unrelated but a couple of good ones... Vagina dildo = David Ginola Vindaloo and rice = Leonardo da Vinci
  14. Not named after Puncheon then? I once had a goldfish named 'Branfoot you ****'
  15. Yeah, and we still got "battered" at Man U. Apparently. Stoke have long had a sizeable mob that also turnout for England, the 'Naughty-40' may not be so evident these days but vigilance is advisable on most awaydays, paticularly at he likes of Stoke.
  16. Well, we have spent "£68m on those young high energy players" dontya know? http://www.friendsoffulham.com/forum/iexpensep?topic=33480.0 We won't mention that while our academy products were instrumental in destroying the opposition, our 2 most expensive £12m signings were either not involved or sat on the bench. *Good analysis of us in the OP there tho, Arsenal may give us a few more problems with their slick passing game.
  17. If you've got Virgin and fancy watching one of our Champions League rivals :tongue-in-cheek-thingy: lunchtime, Arsenal are playing Palace live on BT Sport which is free to air this weekend along with ESPN.
  18. This one...but the fans seen there are piling out of the Lower West, to be picky.
  19. Samsungs are cracking TVs, these are worth a visit http://www.richersounds.com/products/home-cinema/lcd-and-plasma/smart-tvs#1 London Road if you're in Southampton, one there slightly different model number but probably the same spec with 5 year guarantee.
  20. Hurry up and take the friggin' picture...we can't hold this pose much longer...
  21. This was a standout. Another was De Ridder coming off the bench for the (undeserved) equaliser up at Reading in the Championship, it went fookin mental around us.
  22. I'm a bit surprised either would have been asked tbh. Neither played with him or have been at the club while Matt was involved...and Lallana grew up an Everton fan and Liverpool for Lambert. They could have added little more than a bit of back-slapping really. Anyway, cheers Matt for some fantastic years.
  23. They're probably still a bit shell-shocked from the St Gallen support in their stadium the other night...just another example of how bad British support is these days. Tbf they weren't great but certainly not the worse and there's a fair chunk of St Mary's that aren't any better.
  24. I'm a bit surprised Boruc's name hasn't been mentioned yet, the chainsmoking keeper. Maybe that's changed since he came to the club but standards weren't so high north of the border...
  25. Let's hope one of the questions is "and what year did the famous dock strike story take place?" I've always wanted to know.
