  1. Looking forward to this, good opposition, new faces and should be a full house - cheap tickets for the Geordies will probably mean they'll have 3k down here. And a different kind of welcome for Pelle from the thick ***** this time, I guess. We're improving, home win.
  2. I reckon 5,000 tickets will fly out the door and struggle to get past ST buyers. Doesn't say whether they can get more if initial allocation sells out.
  3. I don't know where they're planning to build this new stadium but isn't Blundell Park 'out of town'...well, officially outside Grimsby and in neighbouring Cleethorpes? I agree tho, better in Cleethorpes than 'out by the motorway'. Thank fook for St Mary's.
  4. I'll take that, top night out. Love big away cup games, particularly in the capital. Potential for one of those "I was there" moments, hopefully price it right and we could get a good few thousand up there.
  5. And out of the 2,200 WBA were given they've sold around 1,500 so it 's likely to be a bit hollow. I'll go for between 27 & 28,000 with a few thousand more watching the game for free in the pub/at home.
  6. Agree. Maybe something like 'All things skate', then any post (which there's very few other than this thread) about the deluded pikeys are all in one place away from the main board. Carry on.
  7. If we haven't already taken the full allocation I would think West Ham will want the tickets. There was less than 3000 home tickets remaining earlier today. They're doing kids-for-a-quid for this game.
  8. Nope, you're all gonna diiieeeee!!!! If you all hold hands you should be alright. Bit of a bugger about the trains tho.
  9. ...oh, and Villa and Burnley and Palace, Hull, Leicester, QPR and Stoke and Sunderland, Swansea, Spurs and West Brom, West Ham... http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=301647.0
  10. Let it go Dave, you ain't gonna win with this one, he's on here dawn to dusk putting everyone right and he'll keep it up until you've seen the errors of your ways. BTW I liked it, does exactly what it says on the tin. Just a bit of a chest puffer. We may need it, it'll be like the fookin' Alamo tomorrow.
  11. "Anyone a member of saintsweb on here? Or know any saints fans? Need a favour as im trying to get some more answers for a spyin kop" "Sorry mate, might be best just to ask about on there and hope you don't catch too many whoppers?" And they've certainly sussed this place out .
  12. I just had a nap, woke up, read Art's post and thought I'd lost a day.
  13. We should change our name to AFC Southampton. We'd win it every year.
  14. We should stick all the Geordie's on top of Albion Towers and let them watch from there. Good news tho, hopefully a sign of things to come with regard football fans in this country. Just waiting for the report on ITN shortly about the campaign for lower ticket prices.
  15. 'Average' English/homegrown players appear to be moving clubs for around £10m, English 'talent', as we know, go for £25-30m-plus. If Cork leaves for £3m then some club has made a steal.
  16. Looks like he's a vicitim of the 'system', I was convinced MS was on his way to Poch on the last day of the window but surely that's not the case now if Corky is off or someone else is lined up? But £3m? Seriously? What happened to young English players being worth a premium? We appear to have gone from being very canny in the transfer market to, if any recently reported deals actually come off, to getting mugged. I guess I should heed my own advice and sit back and wait for the rumours to actually materialise but I wouldn't be over fully chuffed about losing Cork. For £3m!
  17. Opportunity missed. The Fruitloop Eleven would also make interesting reading. I guess ever club has them?
  18. You could be right, that "donkey" Crouchy did the same for Villa down here just before we signed him, not a bad bit of business as it turned out.
  19. Cutting them a little slack...Rojo has really only come into the spotlight playing LB for the Argies in the world cup, he wasn't getting this attention playing CB in Portugal. Assuming we're looking to get him in to play central then it may look a bit of a gamble at circa £15m.
  20. So, has everyone decided yet? Bet it's none of these and contains the p-word.
  21. So, who's gonna guess the attendance tomorrow? I'm going for 10-12,000. Maybe 15k if we pull a couple of decent signings out of the bag today.
  22. Dear Kat, Ralph, Les, et al, Sorry. Kind Regards, The Bedwetters
  23. ...and the little matter that he didn't even make the bench... http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/306049/teams Cheeky.
  24. Peter Crouch, how "sh*t" was he?
  25. I still feel he'll end up in North London, probably last few hours of the transfer window, to who's willing to spunk the most to get him. Whether he goes to the goons or spurs (hopefully the board tell poch to go fook himself) one thing's for certain, he's gonna find himself the hate figure for one half of that neck of the woods.
