  1. Don't worry lads Les and Ross will have it under control, just like they did when they overpaid for Carrillo. God, these wasters really are ruining our club. Going to be another long season. Wasn't as if Hughes turned us into Man City was it? We beat a poor Bournemouth at home, scrapped a win against an awful Swansea but were pretty bloody terrible otherwise and still they don't reduce the ticket price. Loyal fans taken for utter mugs really.
  2. Precisely. Doesn't bode well for a summer where we need to act quickly to rectify problems and have a compressed time frame to do it in (WC). Given that article in the Telegraph about how, despite our position, our transfer model was still producing good results (laughable given that it cited the awful Hoedt as a success) I'd say we've learned sweet FA. If we can't sign up an unemployed manager, with a slightly damaged reputation and who as keen to join us as we are supposedly to appoint him then it doesn't bode particularly well.

Why on earth would you think that?!
  4. I think it'll be similar to the Brighton home game, we'll start ok (but be very slow in possession) and have loads of the ball then we'll concede to their first attack (probably because Hoedt has messed up again) and we'll end up drawing with an Austin tap in.
  5. The 2004/5 team was significantly better than our current side IMO.
  6. Yoshida is miles better than Hoedt. If anything it should be him and Jan IMO. Hoedt has been a bit of a disaster.
  7. Klopp’s probably told him not to bother and not get injured because Liverpool will “need” him more next season.
  8. You and 32,000 others. What an inspiring “captain”...
  9. Agreed. At least some of those players tried. These pansies couldn’t give a flying f*ck.
  10. Absolutely pathetic. Please erase this horrible Saints team from my memory. Just dross.
  11. It was obvious from the Spurs away game on Boxing Day that he thought he was too good for us and he’s been a disgrace since then. Two woeful performances against Newcastle and WHU which have really hurt us and he gets a recall in a glamour semi final. Poor decision really, just rewards chronic underperformance and lack of effort. An absolute crime that JWP hasn’t been rewarded for being one of our best players this year with a start whilst Lemina gets in. Get rid ASAP, preferably to someone less “glamorous” than Liverpool.
  12. Agreed. Disgrace.
  13. Yep, a far cry from wasters like Lemina who don’t want to be there. Well played Jan.
  14. Not hard to see why. He isn’t trying. What a turd.
  15. There are a mixture of honest hard working players lacking ability and a bunch of players with ability who just don’t want to be there. Would take Lemina off for JWP, total passenger so far.
  16. Completely agree, was also smiling and laughing with Stephens when were 2-0 at West Ham. Totally disrespectful to the fans of the club that have remade him as a player. The fact he is our captain is a complete joke. Our best player but knows he won’t be here whatever happens.
  17. Players have totally bottled it.
  18. Special shout out to Les for assembling the best midfield options in the league and these top class centre backs.
  19. How pathetically 2005 of us.
  20. Carrillo not in the squad again. Good work Les and Ross. What an embarrassment.
  21. It’s the same as last week where we played well...what were you expecting?!
  22. I wouldn't - the guy looks totally shot of confidence. Has to be Austin and play one up top. Long will be a big miss given how well he played on Sunday.

Well said. Good player though Bertrand is, he isn't a leader of men is he? He was laughing and joking with Jack Stephens whilst we were two nil down in the biggest game of the season v West Ham. Ridiculous. Contrast that with Vincent Kompany who almost burst a blood vessel in anger at being pegged back by Man U, despite the fact City are still a million points clear.
  24. Yes and no. We could have had Maguire in the summer instead of the awful Hoedt and we passed up Nathaniel Chalobah when he was available for £5m so we could have signed young English talent if we’d have wanted to but we went elsewhere.
  25. Exactly. It’s Reed’s fault for leaving us without PL standard defenders but 2/3 goals we conceded today were down to Stephens. For me, he’s one where we will look back in 5 years time and he will be playing for some mid table League 1 side and we will think it completely and inevitable that we went down with him as our starter CB. He’s the 2018 equivalent of Davenport, the only difference is that he’s come through our own youth ranks and therefore gets a much wider berth from most Saints fans.
