Its OK. People just like to moan. They moaned about how little we got for Lallana and Shaw. They would moan like hell if we paid £10m for Marshall or Forster. They moan that RK told the press there were no bids when there were but would have moaned if he had ramped up the debate by saying there was. It's a British thing to moan.

I think people are hard on Gallagher. He's no Lambert yet but had brilliant games against Arsenal and Manchester IMO. A real talent for the future. Just needs that extra self belief that comes with experience (and a bit more quality around him) and he will shine. Big future.

I'm getting a sense of dejan vu here. Young player getting a bit above himself. Feels misunderstood and envelopes himself in a red mist. Unprofessional tweets. Forced to come back and train. Enter Jason puncheon. Dejan would undoubtedly get a poor reception if he plays at SMS but if he is determined to make amends, he could come back better and a much more mature character for the lesson.

Tempting fate to add Morgan in just yet. Wait until the season starts at least. Of those on the banner only Matt and Ted finished their careers with us. Rickie left with his head held high so has earnt his place to stay. Not sure Charlie Miller ever actually played for us but warrants his place none the less. And on that basis - why not add Markus? As for the next player. Lets just wait for it to be obvious.

IMO he is one of the most talented players at the club but someone who hasn't felt valued under Adkins or Pochettino. We have seen flashed of his brilliance and I have little doubt that this will be his season.

Like Gazzaniga IS. With Gazza developing, we need a new first choice. Boruc will still get plenty of game time to cover for injuries and / or loss of form and if he's not willing to benefit from a bit of tough competition, I would be really surprised and disappointed. Think he is better than that though.

Somehow I'm not shocked by lovren but Morgan is one of our more intelligent players who I would expect to actually want yo meet Koeman before reaching a final decision.

He has always shown promise of being top class defender but actually we took a gamble when we signed him - taking on a player that has a reputation for red mist moments that can tarnish and otherwise excellent defensive display. Since joining us, he lost it in the Croatia -v- Scotland game (resulting in a £17k fine) and then for us in the Spurs game away. If you know the right buttons to press you can get in his head very easily. So for me he is worth every bit of £20m but still worries me with that flaw in his character. It's that same flaw that appears to be leading him toward a strike action to get his own way. Basically not a nice person. Do I want him playing for Saints? Probably not. We will miss him but there are other central quality defenders that can be bought for that sort of price. Potential for another 'upgrade' I think.

Morgan would be well advised to wait until January to see how we (and Arsenal) are placed in the table. Would not do anyone any harm
