  1. The true gem in The People article is that apparently the deal for SOD broke down after he saw them play, PMSL. Obviously reckoned £2k a week and no win bonuses wasn't a great deal.
  2. Centre Back (Jos) and pacey striker. That said if Seaborne or Jaidi are not likely to play this season then we would be mad not to invest in another top-class centre back for cover / competition.
  3. Delighted to say I was wrong about Coventry!
  4. He actually looks like the offspring of the current owners.
  5. Based on this the Forrest support would have taken 1400 off of their 14.2k attendance today. Even with Clotterill cast as the pantomime villan they couldn't attract a half decent crowd. Still, they'll pack out their new stadium - massive club.
  6. Merrington says "game over"
  7. Stttttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee
  8. Chappers 1-0 Get in
  9. The home form continues to be our foundation. I think 3 points at Coventry will be pivotal to our season.
  10. I see Brighton lost, shame.
  11. Good god, was like listening to a game in times gone past!
  12. oh ffs.
  13. Palace 0 Skates 0 Really don't know what to wish for on this. Head versus Heart and all that.
  14. Well this is good news.
  15. Mboro 1-1
  16. On the live table we are 5 points ahead of 2nd, 8 points from 3rd and 11 points from 7th. Would have taken that at the start of the season.
  17. We were 2-0 up twice against this team last year. We are a very different side this year, we haven't tonked anyone properly this year, would love this to be a cricket score.
  18. Billy Sharp scores for Donny, what must that guy be feeling like? Puts it all into perspective. Oh 2-0 Jos.
  19. Do we think that Chaplow will take a bit of extra pride scoring against a Darren Ferguson side?
  20. RCFG is on fire
  21. Peterborough (H) - Win Coventry (A) - Loss Brighton (H) - Draw Bristol City (A) - Win Hull (H) - Win 10/15 I reckon
  22. Their losses are not as entertaining without Clotterill. I presume they hammered Derby 1-3 today, who will be in charge of excuses next week?
  23. As it says. Should have a decent amount of votes today with it being home game and an internet stream.
  24. Pretty sure they only scored one (non-plural). HTH
  25. I like Murty. He is a good old-fashioned pro, looked good in the few games he played for us and is always very positive about our club. I remember whe he captained Reading to their Championship win, The victory parade went through Reading town-centre on a Sunday. I happened to be in our office there at the time. The office was on the first floor, so at eye level to the open-top bus. I was watching as they went my, Murty caught my eye and gestured for me to smile, I mouthed back " Saints fan mate" he laughed and pointed it out to the rest of the Reading team much to their amusement. A decent lad, having a laugh IMHO. The point is, he had some great times there and spent most of his career with them, bit harsh for anyone to have it in for him for having a soft spot for them.
