  1. It can be looked at all ways, depends how full your glass is. Anyone know when Winchester is due to be called?
  2. Fair play, it just seems to me that rather then a successful campaign, it was just the least bad (Best by default.) Not that i'm complaining. Just seen that Portsmouth South is a Conservative gain. There really could be an outright majority here.
  3. Has it though? (Apparent results notwithstanding....)
  4. After watching this thread unfold over the last few weeks it just shows, it doesn't matter who shouts the loudest words and holds the strongest opinions, it matters who they share them with. Quite enjoyed the conservatives taking the lead just at the point where David Cameron was confirmed at Witney.
  5. No chance, driving tomorrow.
  6. Yes, too positive to be true, still waiting for that Lab - SNP nightmare.
  7. Glad that Labour are squeezed, but it's still not definitive. The first time the largest party has increased their seats in government for decades on this basis.
  8. Welcome to a new period of prosperity/regime of desolation. Delete as appropriate based on your political compass.
  9. Better off pushing Pelle for a starting slot. (Yes, yes, I know his time has passed with us.....)
  10. Predominantly yellow with blue trim. Not adverse to something a bit different now and then in the away kit though, it does allow for the odd excellent one offs such as the Black Adidas away shirt we had a year ago.
  11. It seems that those who have lived in or near Bournemouth are more likely to dislike them, two guys that I know who went to Bournemouth uni feel that way, the idiot fringe that wish to build a rivalry seemed to have achieved their mission with them; those friends that have had effectively nothing to do with the town though are pleased for them. I'm in the later bracket. Truly delighted for them. I'm not falling into a bitter trap of building another toxic relationship as we have with the Skates, Bournemouth is the little brother.... I couldn't be happier at their success, it is of mutual benefit to have us both in the top flight.
  12. Very well played!! HA!
  13. Selling T-shirts always goes well.
  14. Are we?
  15. He has now officially waived any loyalty fees he may have been due. So it's a sensible measure and in a perverse way honourable as it allows Feyenoord to maximise their income from the transfer.
  16. Davis - Par Forster - Par Clyne - Hit Bertrand - Hit Fonte - Hit Alderweireld - Hit Yoshida - Hit, Really come on nicely. Gardos - Par Targett - Hit, a promising start for him. Schneiderlin - Hit Wanyama - Hit JWP - Par Davis - Par Tadic - Hit, been inconsistent over the winter but a key part of our early season form and our most talented player with the ball. Elia - Miss Reed - Hit, Impressed in the opportunities he has been given. Djuricic - Miss Long - Par, The new Brett Ormerod. Mane - Hit Pelle - Hit, He needs to up his work rate now but the double/treble marking he is subject to shows how big a threat he is, needs better support. Koeman - Hit, Although his tinkering in recent games has not addressed some of our main areas requiring improvement.
  17. It's started, you will be ok. The rule of thumb is a thirty minute drive fully recharges a healthy battery from starting the car. There will naturally be some redundancy in the system though, don't fret.
  18. What a rollercoaster ride he has had. Amazing that he has made 300 appearances for us, another season and he would be due a testimonial! The stories he could tell. Maybe something straightforward. "Thanks to a loyal Saint" or something similar.
  19. Hardly pointless if it inspires a forum member into a lucrative sideline. The insane money that such a redundant player made makes for a relevant discussion, amazing how some football clubs can provide a ridiculous living to those that simply do not justify it.
  20. I meant per month, of course, you are right. And try Coventry for 900 quid a month, a massive shortage of student property there, my old 120k Terrace now yields that for the landlord. And yes, no doubt he wasted his money but had he been smart he would have invested in property and bought three houses for about 350k, rent them out for 800-900 per month and enjoy a 30k equivalent salary without any hassle.
  21. Here's hoping for a Liverpool v Arsenal cup final as our season gently comes to a close.
  22. Buy a few terraced houses in a Student area, live off of their rental income. Can be done quite easily. A £120k house can easily yield £900 a week.
  23. If he played his cards right he should never need to work again based on the contract he had with us. What a waste of time that guy was.
  24. Do you like Clay pots and crockery? If so you will be in heaven.
