I could not stand the thought of this kit for 3 seasons - surely next years kit won't be as bad.

Skatesmuff must surely count as a family club - they are all related to each other and have more family connections per person than normal ...... ie their ssiter is also their mother and aunt (and girlfriend), or something like that!!

For me Puncheon promises more than he delivers. Had quite a bit of the ball, but too many poor passes or loss of possession, gives away silly free kicks and back to endangering the scoreboard with his shooting! Midfield were given a masterclass lesson by aresenal today - AL was MIA, Spiderman seemed to deep, Davis totally out classed., Ward Prowse stood out but the cameo from Ramirez eclipsed him and brings great hopes for the future. Goal differnce looking shabby to say the least - need to hand out a few beatings at home now.

I was packing my suitcase to fly back to Dubai whilst watching the story unfold. The 12th was probably the safest day ever to fly judging by the amount of security checks I went through, but it was a very unnerving quiet atmosphere at the airport and on board.

At Wimbledon's old ground, Plough Lane late 70's, freezing cold mid week game, FA Cup? ... plenty of space on the terraces - people lighting fires on the terrace with newspapers and god knows what else. Also the portaloos were at the top of the terracing so you could have a wee and watch the game thru the window!! Same era, away to Brighton my mate got hit on the head by a bottle of tomato ketchup lobbed from the Brighton section. Seem to remember a few other grocery items also being throw too and fro.

Happy memorys. Bizarrely I shall be in the same pub in Leigh as I was that afternoon all those years ago. Seem to remember that I wasn't the only person cheering BT's goal fortunately. It has a good track record for me, other games I have watched in there whilst back on leave were Saints V Spurs 4-3, was it Easter early KO? By the time the final whistle went I'd lost track of what the score was due to beer consumption, for a while I was under the impression it was 4-4 for some unknown reason!! Also witnessed the 5-1 England v Germany gae. So fingers crossed the good run continues.
