Just about our 1 and only glimpse of The Dutch Duo's Total Football .... thrashing a pathetic Derby who hadn't won a game in a year 1-0. Some of the football was very good and Killer made a fantastic return .... just a shame it was a false dawn. Oh .... and doing my damn best to try and work my way thru all the different beers in The Brunswick but having to call it a day at 11 - train journey back was a bit of a blur!!

One of the most bizarre gigs I've ever been to was Gong supporting Hawkwind at The Bomo WinterGardens. You could barely see the stage through the haze of what was most certainly not ordinary cigarette smoke. Some of the band were wearing Traffic Cones with inflatable rubber duck swim ming rings on. Hawkwinds Light Show with Stacia gyrating around on stage was awesome. An incredible evenings entertainment indeed.

I would most definitely say go for it PB. You've been there so you know what the area has to offer, working for the same company so job continuity and hopefully security!! Not sure about your marital / family status - but this is something that you'd both have to be in agreement on. Could your wife / partner find work, do you have kids of school age etc? Would you be keeping your property here? Visits back home can be a bit awkward living out of a suitcase and staying with friends/rellies all the time. Don't forget PB, if you do sell the house, to cement up the dungeon - don't want anybody to find all the dead bodys and implements of torture!!

In a nutshell!! That deal and the Theo one where we went for the final cash up front installment instead of add ons that probably included clauses such as either walking on the moon etc just about kept us going long enough and not too deep in the mire to make us a viable option for our eventual takeover. There was no alternative. Anyway 10 or 15% sell on is small fry to what we will be getting now we are going back to the Prem!!
