Maybe he'll make a bid for Caulker whilst he's at it!! Where did the Dann rumour come from? Who is driving it, Koeman or the new 100 million pound moneymen?
-
I seem to remember reading that we are quite restricted in what we do by The Financial Fair Play rules, as these are based on Club Revenue Generated, not how much the owner is worth? Wonder how Everton are set on this regards splashing the cash?
-
I reckon the delay in it going over the finishing line is his "You Blue Nosed Nobbers won't see my ar$e for dust the next time the Barca or Dutch National Post comes up for grabs" clause in his contract ;-)
-
I am surprised at just how much I hope it all goes t!ts up him at Everton if he does move on. I remember having a big chuckle to myself when I first heard the rumour about Everton making a bid for him, now in a state of shock that he is most likely going to them, rather than seeing out his contract as he has always claimed he'd do. Just hope there isn't too much collateral damage with players wanting out, or him coming back to try and poach a few of them, as he has done with other clubs he's been with previously.

https://www.facebook.com/ynfathehub/ No Champions League, No Europa League ... not even The Norwich Cup to look forward to next season for Lolvren, Lollana and de Clyne :-)

For me it emphasises how far we have progressed ... here's what we could have had and here's what we actually have!! Pity we didn't use the look and see loan method with Osvaldildo ... would have saved us a shed load of money and grief!!

Big Bad Vic's 3 dismissals in a season is the most in any league post war records began.
-
I didn't see the game, but it sounds exactly like the reason I've given up getting excited by England qualifying for any tournaments convincingly. Come the Big Event they simply don't have a clue and peter out to a damp squib. Flatter to deceive every time. Sh!te line ups and sh!te tactics from a gormless manager. I''ll be much more interested in Wales (Confession time ... Hi my name is Eric and I'm half Welsh), hope Bale shines on the international stage, seeing Steve Davis put in some good shifts for Norn Ireland and The Mighty Schlong being a cult hero for The Republic. Meanwhile our spoilt bunch of prima donnas and halfbaked line ups will be as sh!te as usual.

Why do you think Jose hasn't signed The Stadium Of Prawn Sarnies Contract yet? He'd much rather come to us, and is watching the situation closely. (I could be making this up, but sounds as likely as any other rumours doing the rounds about Ron and our players!!)

K.Billy: "5 players want to leave this Summer"
ericofarabia replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Roll on Sept 1st and all this sh!te can be put back to bed. -
FatPipe Park? Be nice for the old girl to see a bit of European Football. Might give the Albanian 3rd division runners up or whoever WHU would have to play a bit of an unfair advantage of being used to playing on dug up cabbage patches each week!!

It really goes against the grain to want a United win, buts it's what is best for SFC rather than our personal likes and dislikes I guess. Pros of a Man U win - EL Group League for us, 1st match not till Mid Sept. Thus avoiding 4 extra games between end of July and late Aug. LVG the clown maybe kept on as manager, another season of incompetence to follow. WHU's season will start July 28th in qualifying rounds of EL disrupting their pre season build up, although judging by last season their starting XI not likely to feature much. Cons of a Man U win WHU get a shot at Europe, although if anything like last season won't trat it seriously and crash out at 1st attempt. Ex Saints Manager misses out on a bit of giant killing The pros definitely outweigh the cons so we have to sell our soul to the Red Devil for one afternoon!
-
Also factor in a large chunk of of starting XI may well be playing in The Euro 2016 Tournament, and may need an extra break missing some of the Pre season build Ups, so we really should be praying for a Man U Cup Win, as much as it goes against the grain. A crumb of comfort would be Liverpool getting tonked tonight!! As for the season just gone, I don't think anybody would have given much hope of us finishing only 3 points off a Champions League Place at the start and most certainly not at the halfway stage!! But unlike the Poch season's we didn't peter out at the end of the season, if anything we got better and stronger. Some of the results against the top teams have been phenomenal, but we let ourselves down against the likes of Villa ans Sunderland at home and Norwich and Bomo away big time!! Obviously there will be trials and tribulations over the close season (it's the Southampton Way!!) but I'm praying we can keep Mane and Wanyama, but most of all get Koeman on an exteded contract to convince current players and potential new recruits we mean business.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-1 Crystal Palace
ericofarabia replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Shilton, Mick Mills, Ivan Golac, Rueban Agboola, Ken Armstrong, Mark Wright, Nick Holmes, Steve Moran, David Puckett, David Armstrong, Danny Wallace. Normally Frank Wothington was Centre Forward, he only scored 4 but his experience alongside Steve Moran and Danny Wallace was immense. Moran got 21 goals and Wallace 11 plus 15 from midfielder David Armstrong. Stevie Williams missed most of the run in at the end of the season returning not fully fit for the semi final loss to Everton. 2nd in the league and narrowly missing out on a cup final V Watford - a gnats **** away from The Double!! -
That result and Arsenal leap frogging over them was the icing on the cake for me ...... or was it the skates conceding in injury time? One of the most enjoyable soccerballing days of my life.
-
You can't knock him for that .... Newcastle have had a great season ...... if you are a Mackem!! A group of Sunderland fans have paid for a banner reading "Auf Wiedersehen Prem" to be flown over St James' Park during Newcastle's game against Tottenham on Sunday

I've had my HP Touchscreen PC for quite a while now, everything is fine except for the fact that it has Vista Home, and there isn't a straight forward online upgrade to a newer version of Windows. I can no longer use Google Chrome and only get very basic Twitter and FB. On Line Banking is also a problem. I don't want to get a new computer - any ideas? In case you haven't already gathered, I am totally computer illiterate so keep it simple please ;-)
-
Sounds about right to me!! Would love to have seen that weasel faced cahoont Levy's face when it suddenly dawned on him he'd been out weaseled by the argy weasel :-)

Just realised that my choice of Fav Twitter Poster probably is actually only on FB. Does this matter?!!

Oh Oh ..... is Cortese back with his late night press releases to screw over The Daily Echo?

Slightly diverging, but still on positive discrimination for minorities ... one of my son's mates from Uni, after graduating applied for several jobs, but didn't get offered any interviews, despite having good grades. So on the next few applications he ticked the sexual preference as Homosexual (why do they need to ask these things on an application form anyway?) .... and lo and behold he got offered Interviews and eventually a job. Luckily he didn't have to demonstrate how gay he was!! Madness.
-
This would really be the icing on the cake .... but Klopp would still be in the running for Manager of The Year by the media though!!
-
Talk of him going to Spurs is obviously dependent on The Pox still being there. IF he goes to Man U, a pairing of Morgan and Big Vic could be on the cards and reignite Morgan's career!! Or even better Van Fail stays at Man U, we keep Vic and bring Morgan back on a cheeky loan!!
-
Well thanks for nothing Man U you useless, spineless bunch of jessies. No doubt Chelsea will roll over at Anfield tonight. Another bunch of under acheiving overpaid twonks.

His translator? I'd have to give him a bye on this one though, as I'd need one listening to Fergie McFergieFergusFace. I'm sure it's all very innocent, Fergie just getting some info on Argentinian and Spanish Red Wines to add to his collection.
