Unrelated, but with not being a full member, I cannot start a new thread. Just seen on another forum (via Twitter) that I frequent that Dean Richards passed away in the early hours of the morning. Sad news if true...

If anybody could find a video link of that save I'd be very grateful, been searching on Youtube every now and again for months with no success!

I'd like to blame Marc Chamberlain, if he'd had the decency to make his son a couple of inches taller, the ball would have clearly struck the side of his body instead of the debatable armpit/arm region.

I see Forte's contract is up at the end of the season...wouldn't be surprised then if we take him on loan until then, and make a desicion in the summer (depending on what league we'll be in).

Bartley is much more at home in the DM sort of role in midfield, but my Cherry supporting mates say he's been moved to defence due to injuries etc. Would much rather Pugh, although Bartley could do a job as a ball winner in a 4-5-1 formation away from home. His discipline would need to be sorted though, gives away far too many penalties (as was nearly seen by those who watched the game last night).

For those not prepared to pay £30, what did you seriously think the price would be? It was never in a million years going to be as low as £20, and surely if you can afford something in the region of £25, stretching the budget by another £5 would be worth it to actually be at the match and soak in the atmosphere! All IMHO, of course..

Under similar circumstances last year (can't remember what match) the club eventually gave in and offered fans the chance to buy linked tickets to a further 2 or 3 games than perviously announced. For those of you in that boat, it's worth waiting on any further news, seeing as you can't buy tickets for another week anyway!

Joe Lewis has handed in a transfer request at Peterborough. Thought he had a good game at SMS a few weeks ago (despite conceding 4 goals!). Now I personally don't think we need another goalie at the moment, but there have been calls from some supporters that we need to replace KD, and there won't be many more realistic targets than Lewis..

IMHO, I doubt that whether Punch is cup-tied or not will have any influence on who wants to buy him or his potential value.

People seem to forget he's not a 'young' player anymore, he'll be 23 come May, so probably the right time for him to begin to move on. It would however be a shame if he let his contract expire and leaving us with a bit of compensation, as even with this "bumper 3 year contract", I'd still expect Premiership clubs to be after him in the summer.

I'd say overall he has slightly less pace than Theo, but seems to have a better footballing brain.
