This is top level sport we are talking about.its not a kick about or park football..if the players just decide what they are going to do and ignore the manager, they will get annihilated every game.. There has to be a game plan, players have to know who is picking up who, how they set up AS A TEAM when we are defending and how they set up AS A TEAM when attacking...they also need to understand set piece roles and what to do in transition between attack and defence...it's pretty much impossible for an individual to go out and play their own game ignoring the team instructions and it's pretty unlikely that as a group they will be competent enough to cover all possibilities and agree tactics between themselves.

Lol you sound like MP now or the players or probably Les..no need to panic we are not in the bottom three.... Check out the form tables for say the last 15 or 17 games or maybe even the last 19 games..we will probably be where our team is in reality...above West Brom..probably equal second worse with Stoke.... Those few wins in the first half of the season hide the fact that we are truly awful..we get a lot of draws but can't beat any team which has any sort of cohesion or work ethic.

We are the second worst team in the division..not sure why any of this is a surprise to people. If we somehow stay up, then next year will be more of the same anyway. The owner is absent, the board incompetent. Those saying its a disaster to go down are missing the point..the disaster has already happened..

Yes all teams get more points at home than away..that's exactly my point...we would be better off with home games than away games.

It depends which way you look at it...Those teams also get far more points at home than they do away. For example I think Everton get nearly four times the points per game at home than they do away.... The issue we have is we don't get a point per game home or away and that's relegation form...obviously if we can get a win in any of those four, it gives us a chance but with just two wins away this season..it's not a high probability.

Why does everyone keep saying we are better away than at home? I am pretty sure our points per game away are less than our points per game at home. Therefore it's irrelevant where we are in the home and away tables...the fact is we are likely to get less points in our remaining fixtures than if we had more home games left...

One win in 16 games (against West Brom) tends to suggest us getting one win in our renaming games will be tough. I cannot for the life of me see how we have persevered with this idiot. Stoke are the second worse team in the league and the team who has conceded the most goals but we couldnt beat them in two games against them. IMO we are actually the second worse team in the league yet our idiot players (sims did it yesterday) all spout out that we are "too good to go down". The whole club is in denial...deluded the whole lot of them.

I bet she doesn't see it as a legacy.why would she? ..and I bet she is more than content with her money consoling her for anything that comes her way like a delayed flight home from China etc... ML wouldn't care either..he wasn't a lifelong fan of the club. I bet he hadn't heard of us prior to buying us..we were a foreign investment that was a bit of fun

People probably said the same when Adkins was in charge yet Poch got the same players, playing further forward, playing a press and winning more games. Our current lot may get battered by the top 6 playing that way but there is no way that we would have only won 5 games this season playing a higher press,higher tempo game against the dross we have played from the bottom 10.

VAR is not the issue. The issue is that so much cheating goes on that it is being exposed massively by the technology. The decisions ultimately have been right. (Give or take a difference in opinion on a couple of touch and go ones.) i was actually against it but I now think it will be good for the game if it stops cheating which refs turn a blind eye to normally because they are "big clubs"

Think how the team worked when Poch was here and compare that to the last two seasons...

The problem is that only West Brom have won less games than us this season..only 5 wins is appalling. When you take into account we beat West Brom twice then we have beaten just three other teams this season. We haven't beat any of the teams who came up, of those around us we have only beaten Palace and West Ham...i struggle to see past a draw for this game too....

I would agree this is the real issue however so many teams are going on these poor runs..how we caught palace with that record is astounding.

I think it's been quite clear for a while he isn't going anywhere... Personally I think that having stuck with him, I don't see why they would get rid in the summer whatever the result, stay up or go down.

I would agree three should be enough...not sure we are capable of winning at present though...maybe something will go our way that shouldn't and get us a win.... Just 5 wins..two against west Brom, one each against Palace, Everton and West Ham show just how serious the situation is IMO.

At least you have a while to prepare Start by boycotting all premier league games on TV...that way you will wean off the constant "the premier league is the best league in the world" drivel. Next start watching the lower leagues games...this will accustom you to the different styles of football on show. It will also mean you are familiar with the players who are likely to be in our team next season.. Perhaps it will also give you some perspective...it isn't the end of the world! .....Man Up

I only had a look as the commentator on the radio I was listening to, commented how the Leicester fans were turning on Puel. The last 10 games they have picked up one more point than us and last 6, they are below us in the form table. Not sure it relates to one game!
