Pascal Gross is an interesting rumour.
-
He’s a good player. I would be happy with him.
-
Yes, Adams. Have you seen Walcott’s finishing??!!??
-
+1.
-
Walcott looks to have put on quite a lot of weight to me. Wonder if he has developed the football brain that Chris Waddle infamously said he lacked....
-
Presumably there would be no option to buy with Brandon Williams (?). Would be very surprised if United allowed that to happen. Similarly with either of the 2 Arsenal wingers we have been linked with. But then aren’t you only allowed to loan 1 player from a Prem club??
-
Sorry for being off-topic, but Turkish is sadly missed on the UI. Hope to see him back there soon. Back on topic, I can see us getting a couple of loans in by Monday. And then using the extended EFL window to pick up another 1 or 2. Unless some miracles happen with Carillo and Hoedt departing to free up a bit more cash. I’d really like somebody like Kouyate at Palace. A good strong midfielder who can also play CB. Not that Palace would be daft enough to sell him.
-
I completely agree with Gordon Mockles about Sessegnon. I think he would be terrific for us, and would link up really well with Bertrand. Redmond is a versatile enough player to play on the other side of midfield or alternatively as a more central attacking midfielder. Djenepo shows a lot of promise but isn’t quite consistent enough at the moment.
-
I can see us signing Sessegnon actually. Spurs want him out as he’s too quiet. Sounds like just the sort of player Ralph would want to sign, somebody who is young and doesn’t have an attitude.
-
Pathway is the new roadmap, yes? PS need you back on UI.....
-
Nope, nothing agreed. Sounded like an utterly pointless conference call.
-
Not that I think it really matters in the grand scheme of things, but I can’t see there being any football played of any type until August 2021 at the earliest.
-
Really good post.

Interesting potential solution. Could see this happening over here actually.......
-
You are assuming that neither Bednarek nor Stephens become unavailable for any reason. We have no credible back-up option for either of them.
-
Well, as things stand we have no right-backs for the next two games, and our back-up CB’s are Vestergaard and Danso, both completely hopeless. I’d say that’s a pretty bad place to be. We could have been pushing for Europe, but the last few days have scuppered that.
-
Chris Makin. I forgot that he played for us. Thanks for the reminder.

My understanding on the Liverpool allocation is that there was a concern that if there were too many tickets available for “general sale” to fans on the Saints database, they would end up in the hands of people supporting Liverpool. If true, it is one of the few bits of “logic” coming from the ticket office which I have some sympathy with. Not that this logic could apply for Leicester or Palace away......
-
I e-mailed them last Tuesday to complain about the allocations for Leicester away and Palace away, and am still awaiting a response. Seems we’re not even “customers” now.
-
It’s not even as if the club will benefit financially, as they are selling more tickets at £10 a pop to away fans than at £20 to our own members. And they have turned the game into what will sound like a home game for Spurs on the day. Which will be as unhelpful to our team as you can get. Harming ourselves in many ways.
-
Why don’t we just give up any advantage we have, and let Spurs play the game at their ground instead? Absolute joke of a club sometimes, Saints.
-
Hard to disagree with any of that. They make it as hard as they can for us to follow them away, and then roll over to away teams when we are at home. Ridiculous.
-
Probably in the block next to the Saints fans, which the club should have taken up.....
-
Alex Crook though. Knows absolutely nothing about anything of use. Hopeless excuse of a “journalist”.
