no smoking in public places means just that. To have a designated smoking area would have to be in a non public place. perhaps an underground hole or similar? I for one am glad its banned, have taken my kids to a few games in the past and they have been burnt by the rebel smokers trying to hide their fags by their sides and walking past people, stupid thing is, smoke rises!! everyone can see who it is thats smoking.
