I don’t blame the club for singing Redmond. English player who was good for Norwich, I think a few other clubs in for him. Think at the time it was considers a nice little coup. As I said before, they’re not all going to work out and Redmond just hasn’t developed into anything worthwhile. He’s a poor mans Walcott, who is never going to get any better. Got no problem with the club taking chances on players like him and Adams, but it’s our foreign policy that is really not working out. Revert back to British players or at least players that have played here. Yes, we could miss out on the next Mane but we’d also miss out on the next Ely.

I think we may have been premature on a couple of these: Carrillo - never given a proper chance. I know he was never going to be an Ings or even Pelle, but to be honest, would have been worse than Che Adams? Boufal - Had enough chances to show he's the same as Redmond, Mousa and arguably Walcott. Lots of show and little end product. Not saying we should have kept Boufal but he wasn't any worse than what we have now. Hoedt is playing for Roma or Lazio isn't he, if he is playing for them then he's good enough for us. Elynoussi - i think simply not good enough for our league Lemina - should be good enough really, just think he can't be bothered. All teams are going to buy duds, it happens. Just think with a couple of them, we could have persisted a little more.

And there you go

This performance, so far just sums up everything about is

Redmond is so shite

I don’t think the season is done just yet. There’s no reason why we can’t rediscover our previous form and the way the league is this year, we could start sniffing around for a Euro spot again. I think it’s unlikely but it is possible, think we’re only 7 points off 7th. Of course they’ll be some on here that hope we lose to Bournemouth so we can concentrate on finishing 7th.

Don’t know about comfortable save, he got across the gaol and did what he needed to do. but as you say, it’s like 4 games with nothing much to do. Can’t blame him for that but can’t you can’t praise 4 clean sheets when he’s had like 2 shots on target. Saying that, not sure I’ve ever seen him off his line so much, so that’s a positive. still think McCarthy is number one but a bit of me would like to see what Gunn is made of. Hung out to dry after Leicester whilst others have been forgiven. He’s young and not sure how he is going at Stoke, but he could be the future but needs some faith.

You forgot free car parking 😂

yeah, exactly. Would imagine he is not on FB or Twitter, so where is he getting these death threats from? I personally wouldn't worry about death threats from footfall fans, it's not right of course, but me, I'd just shrug em off and say 'as if...' We're not dealing with Tony Soprano here, we're talking about some fucked off WH fans, they're hardly going to drive up the M6 and 'off' him are they 😀

You’re not a footfall fan

Seriously, if you think Ings isn’t trying because he wants a move, you’re fucking deluded and it does not make sense. which scenario do you think he prefers, a - Team playing brilliantly and he’s scoring every other game, increasing his worth which means a better deal for him or b - Team playing shit, he’s playing shit and not trying as he knows he’s off but list of teams wanting him and willing to pay top wages dwindles His value drops and so club are more reluctant to sell
-
Yep. This.
-
Would be funny as fuck if they scored.
-
Oooh maybe we’ll score 9 now
-
Going to lose 5-2 then
-
Fuckingnhell
-
Why does he need to do that?
-
Mike Dean - Can anyone remember him giving us a 50/50 decision ?

Unfortunately there are just too many dinosaur referees in the PL. Its like a white middle class members club and I don’t know how many come through but just seems to be the same trash as Dean, Mason, Moss. I like Mariner and I like Oliver. Bound to be some more but even the likens of Friend and Stott are corrupt to the top six. Need a shake up and refresh and time for those overweight codgers to go and do one. -
He was
-
He really hasn’t has he. Criminal for a pro player
-
So a player is in the line of the keepers view but it’s fine, not even looked at it
-
Can’t Forster play at RB?
-
have we finally put embarrassing 'That Elephant in the Room' thread to bed now?

I do not know what game you were watching? To call our performance abysmal is beyond me. The truth is, like many of our recent performances, we have suffered a lack of creativity in the final ball, Wallcott has been off form and if Danny Ings is not scoring, no one else is either. I think Leicester, Arsenal and Villa are games that could have gone either way, but each of those teams had just a little bit more and we did not offer enough. We are going through a poor run of results, sure, but we are still playing reasonably well and it will turn round at some point, and we'll win 3 or 4 from 7 or 8 and we'll be talking about Europe again and then we'll lose a couple on the spin and finish mid table, maybe 4 points off 7th. Welcome to the world of mid table Premier League football.
