  1. That can be quite painful. Fnarr, Fnarr.
  2. Says on BBC website Duminy's gone, bowled by Broad. May I just say "Get the **** in you little beauty." Thanks.
  3. The audio has Henry admitting he cheated, and IMO saying he told Dunne he'd handballed, who said "You're not the referee." He obviously didn't tell the referee immediately after the goal was scored, as he was running off celebrating. It's easy to say "I handballed it" when the game is over and nothing is at stake. Therefore, Henry's a cheating bastard. However, the level of officiating was clearly arse. Referee and assistant both missed the handball and the player who got within a gnat's bollock of heading it, who was offside.

I thought about £35m initially. That's roughly what Berbatov, a player of similar style, cost. However, he's not half the player matty was, so who knows what fee he'd fetch.
  6. Er, no he doesn't. In fact it's not even close. James Milner has been playing for the under 21s for about five years. (A quick check reveals he is seventh on the list) HTH He's still much better than Wotton/Pulis though.
  7. And Broad. This is a top, top effort from us.
  8. With hindsight, my bowling attack of Flintoff, Broad, Siddle and Swann, may not have been the way forward.
  9. I think you may have got a little muddled up. A CVA is a cerebrovascular accident, otherwise known as a stroke. This is a loss of brain function. A heart attack is an AMI, or acute myocardial infarction. This is where part of the heart is starved of oxygen, and cells die. The aspirin inhibits the platelets in the blood, which often cause the blockage in the coronary arteries and lead to the heart attack. However, rather than dispensing away, it is advisable to contact the professionals in this instance (not Bodie and Doyle) and let them advise you as to what you should be doing. I'd also echo what Redbul said, and would add that it is sensible to stick to only what you know about in an emergency. ****.
  10. Despite bowling a very good last over, Broad has still royally ****ed it up with his inability to hit the stumps from run out chances.
  11. It's not really going too well, to be honest. Not even a run a ball needed with five overs left.
  12. Although I agree with everything else that you have said, why should someone be lucky to be treated at no cost, on the NHS, for a sports related injury?
  13. I'm with Charles Barkley on this one.
  14. No, if they finish in the relegation zone it will be enforced next season. If they finish outside the relegation zone, it will be applied this season. Whether this then means they still stay up despite the points deduction, or it subsequently relegates them, is immaterial. Them's the rules. Hence why winning the last two games would have been massive for us, as the deduction would have been applied this year.
  15. Are the Picks of which you speak a close tribal relation of the fearsome Picts, or possibly a clan of plectrum-hurling warriors from north of the border? If you had ever been on a ghost walk in the haunted city of York, you would know that it has a rich and varied range of ghosts, including Roman and Viking. All ficticious, but a good selection of made up ghosts, none the less. Agree about proof being the burden of fantasists. In all the years of photography, not one satisfactory image exists that can categorically prove, beyond doubt, the existence of anything supernatural. Funny that.
  16. You would hope that with this situation likely for the last few months, then he would have had solicitors analysing what the outcome should be. I would guess he was advised that we had a strong case, so didn't take the -10 point hit. But you can never be sure.
  17. He was alright, but I don't think the Charlton left sided players were overly taxed by our right flank. He did however, take the best fresh air shot and fall over when the ball rolled to him about twenty-five yards out, in the first half.
  18. We're looking pretty good for getting the most unlikely of results. 85-5.
  19. Two down for 31. With Gayle severely hampered, it could be quite close. All depends on Chanderpaul and Sarwan. That said, Amjad's just come on and the Windies could get them in extras.
  20. I agree with most of what you say. It is impossible to judge anyone properly as of now, but I think he's doing well. He didn't have the rush of wins that some managers get when they take over, possibly as the players already knew him well, instead we got two draws and two losses. From that perspective, surely he has done well as he's had a little blip already and turned it around to win three in a row? We can't really afford for him to have too much of a bad run, to judge his bouncebackability on, as we're still in the ****
  21. That was what I was suggesting; not dropping Ambrose for Rashid, playing Rashid in place of of Bopara. Rashid would enable us to play five bowlers without compromising the batting too much. Whoever decides these things obviously thought Ambrose couldn't be trusted to get runs though, hence dropping the bowler which is criminal when you are behind in the series. Without Freddie or Harmison we have no fast 'back of a length' bowlers, just skiddy medium-fast / fast-mediums which on their own don't look threatening enough.
  22. Pretty much what he said. Yellow Jersey should give you the details of the league (it does for the Winchester League). Should have email addresses and phone numbers. http://www.yellowjersey.co.uk/ You might need to be fairly swift though as some leagues won't accept applications after the 1st April. Good luck.
  23. Especially as we need to win this test to be able to win the series. Sidebottom is a liability as he's so injury prone, and if the ball doesn't swing for him he's Joe Average anyway. Typical 'try not to lose' mentality, would rather not take a chance on winning if it might mean losing. If they were worried about Ambrose not being good enough with the bat, why not try Rashid who can bat a bit as well, to strengthen the lower order?
  24. Yeah, but he's done it much better than you.
  25. Good to see Daryl Harper was equally as incompetent when adjudicating on Powell's caught behind decision. How on earth couldn't he see the yawning gap between bat and ball? The whole point of the referral syatem is to avoid these kind of elementary mistakes.
