Maybe he can win the locals over by explaining the benefits of keeping a clean s hit?

I have always fancied trying Copa Mundials/World Cups, but they've never really fitted the shape of my feet when I've tried them on. For the last ten years or so I've pretty much worn only the original Puma Kings, with the odd Joma and Tiempo thrown in. Kings seem to be a little more generous across the foot and offer more support, but as with all boots these days they appear to be getting more and more 'fitted'. They are fairly durable, I tend to wear Mouldies all season and they last about that long before looking a bit ropey. However, they do lose their shape reasonably quickly and the Pittards leather doesn't make a massive difference to water resistance. Still a very good boot though. I can't imagine it would make any difference to performance and if you do start shanking balls, I wouldn't look to blame the boots.

I don't think you do, as I didn't really have one. I was poking fun at the resident fishy troll, not you. I think I forgot one of these though, sorry.

Hang on; that sounds suspiciously like "my mate high up at the club, whom I see socially every couple of weeks." You don't have a penchant for dolls and incontinence, do you?

So long as he isn't a flash in Japan.

SSN - Claim the original CVA has been reduced from 20p down to 10p in the pound. HMRC say that it's the first they have heard of it. FFS.

I've tweeted him several times this morning asking when he will issue his apology to Sharp; unsurprisingly he hasn't mentioned it. Yesterday he wanted Sharp sent off with Taylor, both for 'ungentlemanly conduct' (may I borrow a from you?). I suppose you have to remember that he's paid by Talk****e to have contentious, moronic opinions.

[/img] It turns out Moose was talking ********. This photo was posted by someone who appears to be, a West Ham photographer, on Moose's Twitter account. It appears fairly conclusive. It obviously goes without saying that the abuse is disgusting, Donny or West Ham fan.

You're walking all wrong, champ.

It's funny you should say that, as they appear to have decided that there will be overnight frost that will ensure tomorrow's game is postponed.

My girlfriend came and sat next to me on the sofa with a sad look on her face. "Cheer up," I said. "Oh I'm OK," she sighed, "just a bit sad." "You're fab," I said. "Thanks," she said. "You're mine," I said. "I know silly!" she chuckled. "I love you," I said. "Aww!" she gushed, "that's so lovely!" "Marry me," I said. She squealed with joy and stood up and started clapping like a seal: "Yes!" she bellowed. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" I looked up at her and said, "Yes what?" "Yes, I will marry you!" she beamed. "You must be joking" I said. "Here, have a Love Heart."

... Not enough mention of hand-wringing or investigative genius's [sic] for my liking, but still a decent effort. Needs to get himself a contact high up at the club, whom he sees socially every few weeks, for parity with the undisputed master. 8/10

FFS, Less than twenty-four hours into his Saints career and he's already being likened to a donkey. (bugger, was hoping he might make an appearance)
-
Has this been confirmed? Wouldn't it be possible that he's been signed on loan initially (I think he would then be available tonight), which then changes to a permanent deal tomorrow? I am sure there are ways around it, and if we really want him to make an appearance, he will.

I'll always have time for Nugent. If it wasn't for players like him, being paid through the nose despite their inherent mediocrity, the fishy phew might not be in the wonderful position they currently enjoy. God bless you Dave, for everything you've done to help Portsmouth FC to where they are today.

Brilliant. So we, a Championship team, should only be trying to sign players that one of the top Premier League teams want to sign?? Would you like to have a guess what the drawback to that idea is? Are you seriously going to take the word of one person, whom you don't know from Adam, and decide that a footballer is not worth signing? Words fail me. Why don't you have a look at some Celtic fans' opinions of him, there are some on this very thread.

Please. Do you really think the tweet has been taken out of context, or have you taken her word at face value (not sensible as she is a politician)? It only makes sense if it's suggesting white people are still 'playing divide and conquer' - a tactic which is several hundred years old. The other tweets in the conversation were between Abbott, and a journalist getting fed up with people using the term 'black community'. Unfortunately, as someone earlier on the thread said; she has been hoisted with her own petard.
-
This thread's a bit quiet. Am I not in the right place to have a pop at Bart and berate Adkins? ********, I can't waste time here when there's a bed to wet.

His third and fourth chin??

If women want to indulge in the same sports as men, why shouldn't they? Essentailly Budd only got her arm dislocated because in Rouse's previous fight, Sarah D'Alelio claimed she hadn't tapped and the ref had stopped it early. Unfortunately if it's not stopped soon enough, that's what happens. Ronda Rousey is almost as talented as she is hot.

Gotta be 'Perfect Strangers' for me. It's got an aggressive, moody feel to it that I can listen to over and over.

Lundekvam or Svensson or Ostenstad or Ekelund?
Nellie replied to georgeweahscousin's topic in The Saints
Yeah, but can you imagine Ekelund and Lallana in the same team? Personally, I feel cheated that we were deprived of them both, to differing degrees, by injury. I find it very difficult to compare the worth to the team, of players in different positions. Technically, Ekelund was the best. Defensively, Svensson was the best. Value for money, Lundekvam was best. If I had to choose one, it would probably be Ekelund. -
Needs to learn the difference between a clean sheet and a clean ****, if he's going into management.

Portsmouth is surrounded by water, it sits on Portsea Island. You have to cross a stretch of water to get there. Clearly Mack was right in both his assertions; it is an island, and it is nasty. Not sure it's an 'island mentality' thing, anymore than a 'place with a high concentration of thickos' thing.

She fancies Wayner though, which probably calls her taste into question somewhat.
