  1. Seems a decent bit of business, was highly regarded a few years ago.
  2. I'm assuming this isn't actually a genuine photo, as it looks like it's been done in a school art class by a 5 year old. The plus side of this if it is genuine, is that it won't take long for the sponsor to come off. Might even be able to get it off straight away with an iron...!
  3. Only 5? Hmm... What about the rest? You'd expect Forster, Cedric, Hoedt, Stephens, Mcqueen, Reed, Clasie, Hesketh, Elyounoussi, Boufal, Austin, Gallagher, Carrillo to be open to offers if we can find someone to take them. If we only lose 5, we're still left with alot of crap...!
  4. Seems a very good piece of business..? Bargain.
  5. But still a considerable upgrade on Targett - says a lot.
  6. Wouldn't be surprised if Palace make a late bid if they sell Wan Bissaka for £50m+. They're after a striker
  7. Yup me too - seems to be a natural goalscorer, if you watch Harry Kane, his best asset is that he puts the ball in position to have a shot as early as possible and takes it early, thats a talent and shouldn't be sniffed at.
  8. McQueen is a million miles away from being a premier league player. And probably never will be. Targett probably hasn’t got it in him either as he has no pace. If we sell Bertie we need to replace him with someone better than Targett IMO.
  9. We seem to be the only club that sells players at the market rates from about 10 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. He’s worth £20m maybe more in the current market despite his age. He may not have had the best season but IMO he’s still up there with the best in the league. Can’t they take Targett and Cedric instead?
  11. Well if we'd not basically given up at the end of the season, we might have had the extra £2m from finishing a league place higher!
  12. Obviously it will completely depend on us getting rid of the "deadwood"...(Forster/McCarthy, Rose, McQueen/Targett, Cedric, Stephens, Hoedt, Reed, Clasie, Hesketh, Armstrong?, Boufal?, Elyounoussi, Gallagher, Austin, Carrillo, Barnes) Would leave us with a squad of GK Gunn Forster/McCarthy Lewis RB Valery Ramsay CB Vestergaard Yoshida Bednarek Jones LB Bertrand Targett? Vokins DM Romeu CM Lemina Hojbjerg JWP Armstrong? Slattery AM Redmond Djenepo Sims Boufal? Johnson ST Ings Long Obafemi I'd say: First choice CB First choice ST / Alternate option to Ings DM as competition to Romeu Possibly backup to Valery / LB if either Targett or Bertrand leave A keeper if we get rid of both Forster and McCarthy, however would be tempted to do without one if we only get rid of one of them.
  13. Think he’ll end up at Man Utd personally to replace Pogba Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Depends how much they rate Ramsay, and also depending on the system we play next year, one of Stephens, Reed, JWP can fill in there, though far from ideal. And obviously depends who is here come the start of the season. I'd much rather use the money to strengthen at CB or ST where we are way more desperate.
  15. Dont know, but I'd expect this has been put a way down the priority list, with the emergence of Valery.
  16. He also never seems to like to overlap down the wing either, which makes him far less of a threat than Bertrand going forward. I'd say he's arguably not at the required level to play in the Premier League, let alone sign for one of the "big boys", but I guess he's relatively young, and counts towards their homegrown quota.
  17. Probably b0llocks but... https://www.90min.com/posts/6392446-exclusive-liverpool-make-enquiry-to-southampton-over-signing-of-left-back-matt-targett?utm_source=RSS
  18. Absolutely - Mane was largely useless until Christmas of the first season, second half of the season he looked ok. Following season he started to be class. It will take time for sure. But the unpredictability and the raw pace certainly gives us another option. Wouldn't be surprised if he spends quite a bit of time as an impact sub to start with.
  19. West Ham signing Pablo Fornals. Will be a good signing. They should have a strong side next season, should absolutely have no issue finishing top 10.
  20. He’s on the long term injury list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. Lemina isn't good enough defensively to protect the defence, hence why we struggled when Romeu didnt play
  22. Probbaly better than all of our lot tbf.
  23. Would happily take one of the big boys first game, get one out the way. Chelsea away would be my preference.
  24. And Clasie and Forster
