  1. They're also more than capable of having a nightmare season, though you have to give them praise for the improvements they've made, but two of those have spent a lot of money, and have far larger wage bills (Everton & West Ham). The table is split into more than 2 tiers this season. City Liverpool Tottenham Chelsea Arsenal Man Utd Everton West Ham Leicester Wolves Watford Bournemouth Newcastle Palace Saints Burnley Brighton 3 promoted sides Could easily see those teams moving about a bit next year, but can't see the bottom 6 finishing top half, and can't see the top half teams being relegated. If we can get to the top of the next group of teams. we'll finish comfortably mid-table on 50ish points, something that is not out of the question, but we need to get the summer recruitment right, and move the ones we don't want on to other clubs. And sort ourselves out mentally so we stop throwing away leads.

  3. http://www.ldsports.uk/# Who knows. Very random - seems dodgy to me but who knows.
  4. Yup pretty much agree with SNSUN. Wouldn't be upset with getting rid of Armstrong and Lemina either, as the latter should have some sell on value and large wages. Think we'd be ok with one more first choice DM/CM and then Romeu, Hojbjerg, JWP, Reed to fight for 2 of the other positions. Would like the AM to be a quick player too, probably more in the mould of Mane than an Armstrong/Elyounoussi type. Any news on that Senegalese chap we apparently bid £20m for?
  5. Not surprised at Brighton, given the football they play and the fact they nearly went down because of dreadful form the second half of the season. Potter would be an odd choice for me though.
  6. I thought that they had to show each team something like 10 times, and if they didn’t, they had to pay as if they had ?
  7. I like him as an asset to the football club, seems to be great for the group, but nowhere near good enough to play football in the premier league
  8. Another Bournemouth Saint / Glasgow Saint / Cabbage Face / Heisenberg (any others?) account?
  9. Mitrovic is quality, proper target man that we've struggled without since Pelle left. Holds the ball up, strong, good finisher, no brainer. £30m is the new £15m. Not sure whether we could use Targett as bait for that deal and bring in this young lad from Bristol City to learn from Bertrand.
  10. :lol:Dont let the truth get in the way of a good story.
  11. So does that suggests it's similar to the 1992 Admiral kit?
  12. Quite like the thought of Grey and Yellow if it's done nicely...
  13. Bounemouth really the 11th highest spenders since 2003?! thats mad when they've only been in the league a couple of seasons and with their tinpot ground.
  14. He's nowhere near good enough to be playing in the premier league, never has been. Get rid to whoever will take him. Unfortunately his wages will probably price him out of his level.
  15. The problem with paying "no more than £40k", you'll be buying players who are not good enough to play in this league, or certainly won't be yet. Be aware that Targett, Stephens, Gallagher are reportedly on more than £40k / week, and pretty sure that Bednarek will be earning more than that too. To sign players who are going to make a difference to our team, you're going to be paying them £60k minimum, unless they're coming from an obscure country and don't have anyone else in for them. Our problem with our wage bill, is that we have such a bloated squad, instead of having 20 players on an average of 50/60K, we've probably got more like 30.

  17. Sanchez is awful, Nasri is meh, and Lanzini is a good player.
  18. It is...but £50+ to see the "big boys" is just ripping your fans off. Quite a few ppl I know have already said they won't bother by the big sides, just go to the lower priced games. No-one should have to pay more than £40 to watch football.
  19. He's normally CM in a 3, different to a CM in a 2.
  20. Steeeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeee. Remember him playing at Coventry away and thinking he looked good. Funny old player.
  21. Cheers - have actually been a England Supporters Club member for ages, so will get my pals to sign up to that too.
  22. Certainly need to think about giving Hojbjerg a new contract, assuming he'll sign one, or we may need to look to get rid this summer if we want decent money for him...? Same with Redmond
  23. I don't want to lose, as all my mates are West Ham fans. Hoping for a good game, with some goals, and 3 points. COYS
