Quite like Mooy but absolutely not to type of player we should be spending money on, there are enough other positions which should be a priority. And if we're buying a midfielder, it should be an upgrade on Romeu, not another player who can play in the position slightly further forward IMO

4 to drop out to the final squad. Pretty large squad with 7 forwards. Think Maddison and Wan-Bissaka can feel a little aggrieved.

Transfer fee out will probably depend on his wages, can't imagine he's on anymore than 50/55K per week. You'd probably take £10-£12m for him if possible, but the wheels should be in motion to get rid of him.

They're also more than capable of having a nightmare season, though you have to give them praise for the improvements they've made, but two of those have spent a lot of money, and have far larger wage bills (Everton & West Ham). If we can get to the top of the next group of teams. we'll finish comfortably mid-table on 50ish points, something that is not out of the question, but we need to get the summer recruitment right, and move the ones we don't want on to other clubs. And sort ourselves out mentally so we stop throwing away leads.

Yup pretty much agree with SNSUN. Wouldn't be upset with getting rid of Armstrong and Lemina either, as the latter should have some sell on value and large wages. Think we'd be ok with one more first choice DM/CM and then Romeu, Hojbjerg, JWP, Reed to fight for 2 of the other positions. Would like the AM to be a quick player too, probably more in the mould of Mane than an Armstrong/Elyounoussi type. Any news on that Senegalese chap we apparently bid £20m for?
