  2. Quite like Mooy but absolutely not to type of player we should be spending money on, there are enough other positions which should be a priority. And if we're buying a midfielder, it should be an upgrade on Romeu, not another player who can play in the position slightly further forward IMO
  3. Ah didn't realise that. Still seems a waste of time having 3 RB's in the squad regardless.
  4. Thought that this was just a fan mock-up based on a bit of info from the ITK's. Don't think this is actually a leaked kit ?
  5. 4 to drop out to the final squad. Pretty large squad with 7 forwards. Think Maddison and Wan-Bissaka can feel a little aggrieved.
  6. Transfer fee out will probably depend on his wages, can't imagine he's on anymore than 50/55K per week. You'd probably take £10-£12m for him if possible, but the wheels should be in motion to get rid of him.
  7. Think thats highly likely, anyone any good at photoshop, that in red and white, with that big blue badge on the front, thats our kit.
  8. WHat kind of football training business who is relatively new, has a spare £8m+ lying about to sponsor a premier league football club? If Virgin was £7m, and this is "comfortably the biggest in the clubs history"...
  9. From what I heard, it'll be a youth team going out there, possibly with a couple of "reserves" - first team is going to Austria I think?
  10. Got some in the chapel today, be odd being at the other end!
  11. Duplicate***
  12. Signed last year I thought!? https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/16409919.southampton-sign-danny-ings-on-loan-from-liverpool-on-transfer-deadline-day/
  13. They're also more than capable of having a nightmare season, though you have to give them praise for the improvements they've made, but two of those have spent a lot of money, and have far larger wage bills (Everton & West Ham). The table is split into more than 2 tiers this season. City Liverpool Tottenham Chelsea Arsenal Man Utd Everton West Ham Leicester Wolves Watford Bournemouth Newcastle Palace Saints Burnley Brighton 3 promoted sides Could easily see those teams moving about a bit next year, but can't see the bottom 6 finishing top half, and can't see the top half teams being relegated. If we can get to the top of the next group of teams. we'll finish comfortably mid-table on 50ish points, something that is not out of the question, but we need to get the summer recruitment right, and move the ones we don't want on to other clubs. And sort ourselves out mentally so we stop throwing away leads.

  16. Yup pretty much agree with SNSUN. Wouldn't be upset with getting rid of Armstrong and Lemina either, as the latter should have some sell on value and large wages. Think we'd be ok with one more first choice DM/CM and then Romeu, Hojbjerg, JWP, Reed to fight for 2 of the other positions. Would like the AM to be a quick player too, probably more in the mould of Mane than an Armstrong/Elyounoussi type. Any news on that Senegalese chap we apparently bid £20m for?
  17. Not surprised at Brighton, given the football they play and the fact they nearly went down because of dreadful form the second half of the season. Potter would be an odd choice for me though.
  18. I thought that they had to show each team something like 10 times, and if they didn’t, they had to pay as if they had ?
  19. I like him as an asset to the football club, seems to be great for the group, but nowhere near good enough to play football in the premier league
  20. Another Bournemouth Saint / Glasgow Saint / Cabbage Face / Heisenberg (any others?) account?
  21. Mitrovic is quality, proper target man that we've struggled without since Pelle left. Holds the ball up, strong, good finisher, no brainer. £30m is the new £15m. Not sure whether we could use Targett as bait for that deal and bring in this young lad from Bristol City to learn from Bertrand.
  22. :lol:Dont let the truth get in the way of a good story.
  23. So does that suggests it's similar to the 1992 Admiral kit?
  24. Quite like the thought of Grey and Yellow if it's done nicely...
  25. Bounemouth really the 11th highest spenders since 2003?! thats mad when they've only been in the league a couple of seasons and with their tinpot ground.
