Wonder how much we would be able to get for him. If you ignore the fact he's a liability, in this market that's probably £15m.

Unless he's at the top of his game, he doesn't get in the team. You look at his drive and committment and compare with Hojbjerg and JWP there is no contest. He's not good or disciplined to play instead of Romeu, so that leaves him as an option off the bench. For someone who has a sell on value and probbaly our highest earner, I think it's probably the right decision to lose him. Ideally we'd get £15-20m for him rather than a loan move.

Yup me too - seems to be a natural goalscorer, if you watch Harry Kane, his best asset is that he puts the ball in position to have a shot as early as possible and takes it early, thats a talent and shouldn't be sniffed at.

McQueen is a million miles away from being a premier league player. And probably never will be. Targett probably hasn’t got it in him either as he has no pace. If we sell Bertie we need to replace him with someone better than Targett IMO.

Well if we'd not basically given up at the end of the season, we might have had the extra £2m from finishing a league place higher!

Johnson ST Ings Long Obafemi I'd say: First choice CB First choice ST / Alternate option to Ings DM as competition to Romeu Possibly backup to Valery / LB if either Targett or Bertrand leave A keeper if we get rid of both Forster and McCarthy, however would be tempted to do without one if we only get rid of one of them.

Depends how much they rate Ramsay, and also depending on the system we play next year, one of Stephens, Reed, JWP can fill in there, though far from ideal. And obviously depends who is here come the start of the season. I'd much rather use the money to strengthen at CB or ST where we are way more desperate.

Dont know, but I'd expect this has been put a way down the priority list, with the emergence of Valery.

He also never seems to like to overlap down the wing either, which makes him far less of a threat than Bertrand going forward. I'd say he's arguably not at the required level to play in the Premier League, let alone sign for one of the "big boys", but I guess he's relatively young, and counts towards their homegrown quota.
