Might be a quiet one...highly likely that we won't get rid of Carrillo or Lemina and possibly Hoedt until after tomorrow, when all the prices will probably halve when the UK window closes. Ins Hoping for a CB of some sort, better than we have Ideally a DM but very unlikely Outs Austin Elyounoussi Hoedt Carrillo Stephens Forster/McCarthy Lemina
-
Hoping they'll end up sticking £25m down for Lemina...
-
Would be an odd one unless we're about to sell Cedric. Not sure why Spurs would let him go though. Cant see it
-
Got mine. Not sure who would ever wear that badge though
-
Unlikely he'd play 30 games, so get rid of that clause. maybe 15

Certainly won't be impressed if we don't manage to move anyone out and don't bring a CB in. I think we've done well in the attacking positions, I think Adams and Djenepo could both be cracking signings, but the preference should have always been a proper first choice CB. Obviously the biggest problem is they didn't think they'd have such a struggle getting rid of the players they didn't want to carry into the season...McCarthy, Forster, Hoedt, Stephens, Cedric, Reed, Lemina, Elyounoussi, Austin, Carrillo. McCarthy, Hoedt, Reed and Cedric could be squad options this season, it'll be far from ideal if we're stuck with Forster, Lemina, Stephens, Elyounoussi, Austin and Carrillo. My prediction is that Lemina, Elyounoussi, Austin and Carrillo will not be at the club by September 1st, but permanents or loans is TBD. Think we'll be stuck with the rest.

Seen nothing to suggest we even enquired, just wishful thinking by people on here.

TBF it sounds like they're relatively happy buying him, but on an Ings style deal probably for FFP or cash flow or whatever...obligation to buy next year.

Ah great thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Would amaze me if no-one came in for McCarthy, very good keeper, decent at this level, and would be the best keeper in the championship. Leeds need a new keeper, maybe they'll take a late interest?

Off to the T20 game on Friday - whats the best way to get to the ground from Basingstoke? Thanks

Gunn Valery Bednarek Vestergaard Yoshida Bertrand Romeu Hojbjerg Redmond Ings Adams Difficult to leave out JWP and kind of expecting him to leave Romeu out, but would personally play him. Could flex it by dropping one of the forwards for JWP. Wouldn't be surprised if Ralph played Stephens rather than Yoshida tbh, which would be a shame.

Should be automatically added if you have been in it previously... Code is here: bghpy8

Can't see it. Certainly going to be interesting to see where he ends up.
-
Yeah - he's also still pretty young...he's not long turned 25, younger than Stephens. If he can cut out the mistakes, I think he'll be ok, but thats a big if.
-
Do believe there is a good player in there, but like all our centre backs, they need the right partner and balance and the right player shielding the defence in front of them. I don't think we've currently good a good enough combination between any of our two centre backs and a DM, which is why we have to play 3 at the back.
-
Seem to remember they enjoyed themselves when they went to Arsenal in the Europa League last season.
-
Can't see that. Pretty much all of their players are unproven at this level. I think they'll stay up but bottom half. 16/17th maybe. It willl likely take them 3 months just to gel with each other.

(1) Where will we finish in the league? 12th (2) Which round we will reach in the Mickey Mouse Cup? 4th (3) Which round in the FA cup? 5th (4) Leading Goalscorer? Che Adams (5) Our player of the season? Che Adams (6) Which player will surprise you most? Vokins (7) How do you think our great neighbors will get on down the M27? 4th & promoted via the playoffs
-
That's Dunk's replacement for Maguire then...
-
Ciaran Clark available for £5m - arguably better than what we have got...
-
I mean he wouldn't get a game for Newcastle - instead of Schar or Lascelles...wouldn't have thought so. West Ham: Balbuena and Diop? No CBA to go through the rest.
-
It was pretty consistent under Puel & Koeman tbf.
-
Think that's harsh. Obviously he isn't at the level that we have been getting used to, but he's still a decent enough CB, and he's definitely improved since he came in.
