England to play Euro qualifier at St Mary's in September

Saw him last night, walked past me while I was queuing to get in. Absolute bellend. I'll never understand why people wear club merchandise to England games. -

Queues were appalling tonight, turned up at 7:15 - in the stadium just after 8pm. Queues at half time weren’t worth bothering with, as per usual... Not a great advert for the ground. Game was good though and decent atmosphere apart from the drum. -
Looks like we've sent some back... https://www.sufc.co.uk/news/2019/september/blades-v-southampton-tickets/

They go back the following weekend, so likelihood is some will go back early. Im driving up Saturday early doors and back Sunday. Aim to visit a bit of division street in the evening I think.

Don't tell everyone about the Sheaf View, will be a nightmare!!! Thats where I'm heading. Cracking little real ale pub. You can park in town and walk / taxi. It's not that far depending on where you end up parking. There are quite a few nice pubs in town, mainly along division street, devonshire cat, forum, frog and parrott, bungalows and bears. There is also the Fat Cat around Kelham Island area of town. and the Sheffield Tap inside the station. Also a few down Ecclesall road, which is one of the main student areas, but full of good pubs and restaurants, a nice spot for the evening. Loads of options

The Saints OS quiz - to pass the time before the Blades game

27 - missed the ones he probably scored against in the cup - won't give them away... -
https://twitter.com/HLNinEngeland/status/1168527666779185159 Kristof Terreur @HLNinEngeland Wesley Hoedt has undergone his medical at Antwerp. Saints defender expected to be announced later today. A loan with option. #saintsfc #rafc

Very brave from the police if true.

I wanted it to a certain extent, but it's a bit of a no-win situation for us. We beat them, as expected, and it's no surprise...we lose and it's absolutely horrific for us. I can see why some fans wouldn't want the tie, especially if it means they can't go because of the travel restrictions assuming they have some.

40 is my absolute threshold, Atleast the away tickets are capped at £30 (+ booking fee) Luckily I have a ST so I’m not being ripped off, but if I didn’t have one, there is no way I would pay that money, especially if on TV. Bonkers pricing

Wasn’t asked, an odd one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Probably rules out Monaco as an option... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9816396/tiemoue-bakayoko-chelsea-monaco-loan-31-8m-option/

If true, got to say I’d take that. Could have been far worse. Back for the skates hopefully... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

http://sportwitness.co.uk/director-flying-england-week-southampton-player-offer-accepted/ Sounds like he's off to Besiktas. Hardly the dream move that he thought he was worth...

First full game for us in a long while, I'm more than happy with his performance. He will get better as he fits into the side, doesn't happen overnight.
-
Worked very hard last night I thought. Still doesn't make the greatest of decisions all the time but hopefully that will come. Might become a very important player for us this season, especially if Redmond is out for a while.
-
I was thinking that, nasty sprain, but hopefully back playing in a month or so. Fingers crossed he's back for the Sheff Utd game, however unlikely.
-
Would be a bit of an odd one, especially as Smallbone seemed to be favoured in pre season, he got the most minutes out of everyone. Personally think we should be looking at a pretty strong team to get some confidence. Hopefully we can get Adams a goal. Not sure Djenepo is ready for a start, as on current performance, he'll get sent off. McCarthy; Cedric Danso Yoshida Bertrand; Romeu Armstrong; Boufal Redmond; Adams Long

Unless we can shift a fair few in the next few days, I can't see us doing much at all, especially if they don't leave on permanent deals. Still got Hoedt, Lemina, Elyounoussi and Carrillo to get rid of. Best part of £250k a week, that's the best part of £5m between now and the transfer window opening. We won't bring in another CB unless we lose Stephens and Hoedt (or possibly Yoshida if he gets a chance to go abroad and he's not getting a game here). DM is clearly an issue, especially when Romeu/Hojbjerg get their inevitable suspensions... Once we decided on a system, it'll be easier to judge signings, but for me, this 4222 just does not suit our players, and if we persist with it, then I can't see us winning many games.

3 points today would go a very long way. I, like you, am concerned. I didn’t think we’d be involved in a relegation battle this season, but it’s looking highly likely we’ll be right in it again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Are you travelling to Brighton this weekend?
