Makes no impact, lets say the club made an extra £1m from gates....it's not going to pay for any player to come here...! The club gets enough from other revenue streams.

Why would Austin sign for anyone now, when he can pick up the signing on fee in the summer? Doesn't harm him unless he thinks he can score himself into the England set up - unlikely though seeing as though he wasn't given a chance last season!

Hesketh was such a weird one - started a game, was very eager but didnt look out of place in his small cameo, got injured and then has never been seen in the squad again....would have expected himj to be on the bench every now and again since.

I see that Man Utd fans are being charged £71 per ticket compared with our £22....! Sucks being a big club eh!

I do think we need to have a proper look at things - we're in "freefall" are in terrible form, cant score and leaky at the back. Do I think we'll go down? No. But it could easily happen. We should never have lost against West Ham and Norwich, but we did which pulled Norwich three points closer to us. We have a job to do over the next few months, and we need to make sure we stay up. We have some big games, and we need to start picking up points - it could look completely different in a few weeks time if we get a few wins. I can't be the only one who thinks this lad can't be any worse than the current lot....at least he'll get stuck in. Thought Clasie was good yesterday, but think I'd still prefer Reed. Is there off field issues with him? Not really sure why he's not been given a chance this season, especially as Ron said about if there are two players on the same level, then the club will choose the academy player. Was fantastic in those few games he played last year.
