As ever the king of the WUM's (Alpine) starts a thread about some prat who reckons that it would be a good idea if his Scottish 3rd div team were to be included in a Super League ! Nobody (neither Rangers nor Celtic!) has applied for this to happen and probably never will ! It is hypothetical nonsense ! I am not in any way PC nor do I take offense easily(if at all!) but I do find some of your opinions particularly obnoxious ! Charles Green has made an arse of himself with his recent statement, no doubt about it IMO, but please remember that he is English and has expressed his personal view which in all probability is not shared by many Rangers supporters ! There is no simple answer to this question as it very much depends on whether someone immediately gets a fixed position in the team, then gets a run of games etc.. JRod has been played out of position (left wing!) a few times and has been in and out of the squad so it's been more difficult for him than say, Steven Davis who has been played in his natural position, has had more minutes and looks more comfortable ! As for the team gelling, it really takes matches (rather than training sessions) to establish an effective system and bed things down properly. So far this has been disrupted by injuries (can happen to all teams in the league, I accept!) so things are not yet at the standard we'd all hoped for ! I don't think you can say 5 games, 10 games or whatever as there are just too many factors involved !!

This is an example of extremism in the name of the religion, however the oppression of women in many Islamic countries is pretty appalling at the best of times ! I have visited some of these places on a fairly regular basis and have first hand knowledge of the lack of opportunity afforded to the female gender ! If we aspire to progress at Premier League level then stability is a key factor !! Chopping and changing managerial positions is seldom the answer and if we are not prepared to allow even a quarter of the season as a learning period then I despair ! There is nothing to be gained by short term solutions which are built on sand, solid foundations are necessary, patience and resolve are required to achieve this ! Good business people recognise this and I'll be very disappointed if NC does not ! Nigel has made mistakes like anyone would in his situation, but has clearly shown that he has strong personal characteristics and the motivation to succeed ! IMO he truly deserves the full support of everyone (board and fans alike!) and I am happy to note that over 90% on this website are in agreement !! A very harsh indictment on what I meant as a reasonable, even handed post ! FWIW, I consider Nigel to be an honest, hard working individual and when he makes mistakes I'm sure that it is always with the best of intentions ! No doubt eventually the short term thickos will get their way and he'll be replaced by a mercenary 'big name' but will we be any better for it ? Having just trawled through 210 posts it is easy to see why Nigel has an almost impossible task to please the masses ! Conflicting opinions all over the place - he was right on this, he was wrong on that ! The fact is that it is not an exact science - it is sport, it is unpredictable, it is volatile ! Had Puncheon's goal stood and we went 2 up, I reckon that we would have closed the game out, but it was not to be and after that Nigel had to make some tough decisions ! He did, was he right or was he wrong ?? We'll never know, but at least he tried his best !!

The next time any Skate questions the fact that they were trading whilst insolvent, I think that we should refer them to these articles (by one of their own!) as he clearly asserts that there was intentional skullduggery and (alleged!) fraud !!
